Reading On Ketamine

So just a few min's ago i took a small bump of this super bomb k, and smoked a spliff and picked up this new book i found in my house titled The Power of now by Ekhart Tolle.

This was my first pick up of the book after doing the bump and let me tell you, reading on a small bump of k causes for some radical mind expansion. It allows you to think clearly with the psychedelic interpretation on the mind state. I recommend it to all the psychonauts who get down on exercising your brain in the form of reads.

Anyone else read while slightly dosed on k?

It could be that I just dose too high for this, but usually on ketamine I have a really, really hard time reading íf I can still read at all, I usually get some degree of blurry vision, with a lot of static and partial blurring mixed in, so it might look nice but it'd take me about 5 times as long to read the same piece of text; and when I then do finally manage to read the words (usually holding my face close to it and closing one eye) I'll forget every sentence as soon as I read the next one.

On a much lower dose it is possible to read but still I usually don't find it worth all the efford, I'd rather just go into the mental effects or listen to some music or try and communicate with other people.

On another note, I do know the mind expension idea you got from that; I once watched a documentary on a festival comming down from a pretty large dose of ketamine and it was just the most amazing thing I had ever seen, I was properly overwhelmed and got really, really inspired by it (it was kind of a hippie documentary about 2012 and how only humanity itself can make any change to how things are going etc. etc. really the perfect thing to watch in the mindset I was in haha).

Yes it's really easy to dose to high for this. Maybe with tolerance it's even impossible to get an effect and still not get the cognitive dysfunction.

I usually spend way too much time reading, writing or typing things on ketamine and speech can stutter and with chronic use there is even impaired speech.

Psychedelics in low doses might be a nice idea for immersion, which is in one word what I think you are talking about. Right? Ketamine in very low dose apparently can serve for this. With something like methoxetamine maybe in low doses this is a better idea because it modulates dopamine more, I have a tickly feeling that MXE could help you create a 'tunnel effect'.

I remember clearly that this one time when I was reading a book on ketamine sitting on the toilet every letter seemed to have a different font and size, it became virtually impossible to read and it slowed me down immensely. But with movies it sucks me right in, so I can clearly see the paradox there when you try to follow a plot in a book. You could become committed or hypnotized, though as is already said before dosing is quite tricky if you want to steer clear of linguistic entanglement.
