OK so I've been iv'ing heroin on and off for 6 years and I'm always very particular about never using 1rig more than twice at most. however, I found myself stuck at a friend's cabin and my rigs we're kinda dull but they're all I had. so anyway, after 3 different "iffy" shots, 2 lower down my forearm than I ever go, my whole forearm from the ditch of my elbow down to about 4 inches from my wrist is just a little bit red, but it's significantly swollen....I ran it under hot water for about 7 minutes last night and then just went to sleep expecting it to be at least almost better when I woke up ( Anytime I've done anything even close to this its usually better or at least greatly improved by the next day) but it just seems even more swollen today than yesterday.....any suggestions on what it is or how to make it go away..?

Id go to a doctor. They can give you antibiotics to make it go away. Did you miss the shot? When you miss and you get the red bump that itches that usually goes away by the next day and since your thing got more swollen idk that dont sound too good so play it safe and get it checked out.

Well if it gets bad you will know it. I know you do not want to hear it, but the doctor is a pretty good place to go with a health problem.

Just say you got bit by a spider if you are dead set on lying. Really you dont have much to lose in terms of your medical record if you hit up the doctor now. But if it gets worse you may have no choice but to own up to using dope.

But yeah you can lose an arm if it gets worse.

If you get red streaks on it or your arm gets rock hard go to the ER immediatly. I am serious about that.
