Can someone explain to me why a slower reaction time on a test usually indicates Piperazine?

I've eaten pills that had slow reaction times and were absolutely nothing like pipes I have had.

It does not always mean piperazines. A slow reaction time could also be caused by a low MDxx content pill. However; if you test a pill with a slow reaction time, and see some fizzing/bubbling going on in it, it could mean you have piperazines. It can be confusing if you are a new tester, but after you get a few tests under your belt, you'll be able to distinguish the difference.

I didn't ask for that reason, it just seems that we R1 states that it is a piperazine anytime people have slow reaction times.

To err on the side of caution is always the safest option-when you could be talking about a adulterated pill. When you think about the amount of mixed pills going around the US at the moment I can’t blame them for being cautious when people report slow reaction speeds.

From the point of a new user of X and the site I much rather them read a report that highlights the fact that the pill 'may' be adulterated than thinking the pill has a low amount of MDxx.

I often say pipes = AVOID! I should really say 'some people love them they dont think they have eaten a poison, end up awake all night having hot and cold flushes, being sick, sweating not knowing what is going on, skin crawling, cramps, unable to get comfortable, racing thoughts and heartbeats etc.

Seriously though with the amount of decent pills around the US at the moment buying a low dose MDxx pill for the same price as a high dose MDxx should be avoided anyway :D

I will agree it is better to err on the side of caution nowadays. My only concern is how many people just post comments saying pipes on pills when after consuming them they turned out to be exactly what was originally posted, amps with MDxx. I had a couple friends take their chances with an unknown pill because they saw a ton of comments saying pipes on pills that my half of the group took and ended up having a good time while the stuff they took were pipes.

Yes, people need to take PR with a grain of salt but I know a ton of people that go religiously off of PR.

I agree 100% too many people are too quick to scream pips – ‘Oh its shiny, it has to be a pipe’ ‘It was hard to snap, it has to be a pipe’ ‘Cutouts – everyone knows that every cut out EVER is a piperazine’ ‘Blue, nah there pipes also’ ‘see those crystals.., pipes’ ‘no crystals, pipes’ – piperazine paranoia is understandable but people should just think before saying for sure they are piperazines.

Half of the time (which is really annoying) is the people screaming pipes haven’t had them, probably haven’t seen them before or know anything about them. They believe that they know the content of a pill just by looking at them on a screen – one person says it and then the pipe train starts. We do often say to people keep your comments relevant and on the pill in the report – if they haven’t had it/tested it then they shouldn’t jump to conclusions when the user report doesn’t indicate a piperazine pill.

It would be pretty hard to remove all comments as we don’t know if the person has actually had them and is leaving a genuine comment or if they are just saying it for the sake of it. I think people need to read the report carefully and before they take ‘any’ comment seriously they need to know how reliable that person is/acts. A quick search comments by user will show that users history on the site and you can quickly build up a list of who you think is a genuine user and who is simply bullshitting.

WER1 is trusted member of the site and a valued moderator and I trust their judgement when reporting a pill as ‘possibly’ adulterated. I will however mention to all the moderators about maybe rewording our comments when a slow reaction speed is noticed. Maybe we should emphasise that they slow reaction MAY be a sign of a mixed pill or could be an indication of a low dose MDxx pill. (Actually I’ll just have them read this thread).

A marquis test kit is so cheap that anyone rolling should have one !

For some reason larger pills, what newbies like to call a "quad stack" or whatever can have slower reactions because of all the filler needed to press such a large pill. But slow reactions should always raise suspicion since a very large portion of people are testing them and reporting even fast MDxx reactions with pipes. Many but not all pipe combos end up with spotty or watery looking puddles and very weak reactions. Slow reactions can also mean it's time for a new kit. More experience testing pills will give you a feel for what's good and what's not. I think pipe pressers are using lower doses of pipes than they used to because less people have reported bubble/fizz when testing pipes. I guess too many people were double dropping pills with high doses of pipes and getting sick. I noticed the newer batches tend to be weaker, some that I tested recently did not bubble/fizz, but DID have a strong reaction to simons reagent. The tablets were also unusually small. People that took only one remained completely sober while people who double dropped got a mild pipe buzz. My assumption is that they didn't fizz when tested and require double dropping because they are a low dose, as I believe many newer batches are. The first time I took (and later tested) pipes, they were very strong. They made me very sick, and the pill actually fizzed when I tested it. Newer pipes I have come accross only fizzed when tested in "Molly"/powder form, leading me to suspect that.

Slow reactions are kinda sketchy though unless the pill is unusually large. Still, I think eztest and dancesafe need to step it up and make a pipe test reagent or something.

I completely agree. It would be nice if people would only comment with what they think is in it if they have tested and/or consumed it or based off of the user report. The pipe trains are getting annoying.

If people can afford to roll every weekend like I see a number of people doing, they can shell out $20-60 to get the test kits. I won't eat anything unless I have tested it anymore.

For the bolded part you are "the man." These new phrases on pills being "double stacked" or "triple stacks" where I am from is a term coined by dealers trying to rate how bomb of a pill they are.

Slow reactions are always shady to me but a few of the most recent beans we have tested with slow reactions turned out to be a medium dose of MDxx and a small amount of amphetamine.

Actually, to tell you the truth I noticed under the mecke, it tends to go green to blue to black vs navy blue/black almost instant with speedier pills too

Oh yea, and the older your kit gets, the slower the reaction. Kits don't last forever!
