First off.. YAAAY BLUELIGHT IS BACK :D

Anyway...
"Not since huffing spray paint and aerosols has a more seemingly innocuous product been used to get a high than the elusive bath salts that is creating a scare across the country and especially with parents.

Now you can’t even buy a can a spray paint at the Home Depot without flashing your driver's license. I imagine that bath salts will also follow in this vein if they don’t just get banned altogether in Pennsylvania and across the country.

For parents who don’t know, the common ingredients are methylenedioxypyrovalerone, or MDPV, and mephedrone, and, while the label on the package says they are for enhancing the bath this is just a cleaver ruse to disguise the real purpose of getting people high. Ingesting MDPV can cause chest pains, increased blood pressure, increased heart rate, agitation, hallucinations, extreme paranoia and delusions. Worst-case scenario: Bath salts cause suicidal thoughts and death".

I am not surprised this is happening in pennsylvania and around the country. It was just bound to happen and it finally is going to. All I can say is the kids are going to experiment anyways so you can try and try to take everything away but still if there is a will there is a way. Also it's not to hard to get this even if it is illegal/banned.

Bath salts are terrible, just like everything else that's legal, kids think it's 100% safe because it's legal. I'd probably do cocaine before I even looked at one of these.
 
Bath salts are no worse than something like cocaine, and are far more likely to be pure (see levamisole in coke). That said, the legal = safe myth and wide distribution leads to a disproportionate number of ODs and other horror stories compared to some other drugs. And the media's got an agenda right now to get them banned, so expect to see plenty more stories until the goal is achieved.

RCs are made by anyone and everyone since they're often just as easy to make as illegal drugs, however the ingredients are easier to obtain. Hell, I've heard from my friends that they saw some 14-year-old making one of the cannabinoids. Granted he probably killed himself after awhile, that just proves that anyone can make these easily, therefore they're more likely to be contaminated than something only experienced chemists can make.

All my Mephedrone and MDPV have been of extremely high purity, I don't know where you have been getting your bath salts...

Anyway, I enjoy Mephedrone it's a good party drug and the comedown is quite light.

MDPV on the other hand I only use for sexual encounters, because the comedown is hellish and unforgiving.
 
My mom must have read this or something because I came down for breakfast a few days ago and she asks "Have you ever tried bathsalts" and I just started laughing.
 
I stay away from such things, not because I am afraid, but because I have no reason to chase such shitty highs with even worse lows. I haven't heard anything good about these chemicals. In all honesty, I'd rather just have a trusted connect on MDMA than to mess with MPDV and its brethren.

"I know it's pure because it's white" hmmm, what can also be in it that looks white? Powdered lime, chalk, cyanide, strychnine, some forms of NSAIDs like ibuprofen, paper, cleaning powders with a pH of 14, baking soda, flour, salt, the list goes on and on. None of that do you want in your nose, however some are obviously worse than others.

And don't try to give me that "I had it sent to a lab" shit, no one does that except the stupid DEA and related agencies.

Err.. do you work for the DEA or something? You're acting like they do like "varying potency" is a bad thing.
 
Varying potency is a bad thing. Think about it for a second. One day you buy a batch with very low potency. You play around with the dose a bit until you find one that works. A week later you run out to buy some more. This batch turns out to have a very high potency. You take the same dose that you were taking with the previous batch. BOOM. You're in the hospital with your extremities turning blue. Sure, people shouldn't just assume that every batch will be the same potency. But, most people are idiots. Especially when it comes to drugs. So please do explain. How is "varying potency" not a bad thing?
