So I have 10 and 3 cc luer lock syringes. I do have needles for them but I wouldn't plan on using them (way too big, 21 or 22 g). So these syringes are for 1 thing only, that is to push solution through a micron filter. Following that I would pull the filtered solution into a 1 cc insulin syringe and use that.
I am just wondering if its find to re-use the syringes for just filtering the solution, without going through some difficult sterilizing process? Like just rinsing them in soapy water or using rubbing alcohol. I figure its not really a big deal since its being filtered and the syringes are not getting blood in them or anything.
