RE: keyboard duster thread

I didn't get to respond in that keyboard duster thread started by Candy Raver so I wanted to make a thread of the warnings of using that stuff.

I just want to say its very easy to "freeze" your lips, mouth, throat, and lungs with that stuff, permanently fucking all that shit up.

it also causes blackouts and seizures. my main warning of this thread is I did this one time while I was in wal-mart parking lot where there were no cars, I was gonna do one and it'd be done before I made it to the road. well, I did it, blew it out, was feelin' it. and thats all I remember. I woke up in the street with the engine in the passenger seat of the car. I had hit the traffic signal light pole. I had broke my femur and ankle. the car had to be cut all up to get me out and air lifted to a st. louis hospital. I'm 25 and I walk with a cane now and probably will for the rest of my life. so, please just be smart about this and stay away from it.

yeah, I thought I had pics of when I was in traction and had the bolts sticking out of each side of my leg like frankensteins neck. it was freaky looking when I woke up and saw it.

but thats my story about duster, and why I think its bad and I don't do it.

I spent 10 days in the hospital, and then a long ass time with crutches. both with a regular cast, and then a walking cast. I now walk with a cane over a year later. and chances are I will the rest of my life. I'm gonna have the pin in my knee removed eventually. but I have a metal rod goign through my thigh bone from hip to knee a screw at my hip and a screw at knee and three screws in my ankle.

I also have been a victim to a duster blackout. I ended up plowing into a tree going about 45mph and shattered my acetabulum (joint where the femoral head connects into hip). I also had damage to the femoral head......I had to be put into traction while awake, due to all of the morphine and ativan that I had pumped into me while trying to relocate my hip (I was also on oxy, lunesta, xanax, alcohol, weed). It was so painful being put into traction while awake that I passed out from the pain. I was told that I may never walk again, due to the severity of the injury. Acetabular fractures are considered to be one of the most difficult injures to repair and heal. Luckily I had one the best surgeons when it came to acetabular fractures. I couldn't walk for 3 months, or even put 1lb of pressure on my right leg. I had bone graphs and a bunch of plates and screws put in. It was a miserable 3 months. At least I was able to legitimately go to pain management :\

Anyways, the moral of the story is that duster is not only very dangerous, but just fucking stupid. Don't do it.

good story, I really hope this thread helps someone out there thinking of trying it to make the right decision and to just not do it.

What are the red stickers on the car? They look like biohazard.

Driving fucked up on anything is stupid. I could have taken some gruesome pictures following an alcohol crash. I wasn't even the driver, but my drunk ass didn't want the ticket so my drunk ass girlfriend drove.

I've always wondered that myself. yes, they are biohazard stickers. my guess is maybe because there was blood on the steering wheel where my face smacked it (it didn't open, for whatever reason)

hahaha. not towards the injury or misfortune, just the act of driving while doing duster. every single person who does that shit deserves to be made fun of for being so stupid. not to say i havent done it and also been stupid

be responsible when behind the wheel.

some pussy tried to get at me over this topic on another thread, attempting to salvage some redemption for his mom who got hurt in a wreck. feel bad for your ma man but dont try to tell me why your mom got hit is cuz of ppl like me. ive never been in a wreck my entire life. and a car coming towards you and a cop following you are on different sides of the road. bra.

oh, I know I was dumb. I was doing duster at the time, of course I was gonna make some bad decisions. huffing duster was the first one.

duster is fucking crazy....even tho i love the feeling and tingling of the whole body i would never drive on duster, my friend drove into a ditch while on duster
