RC's like LSD

Everytime I take shrooms I get horrible panic attacks, last time I did shrooms I thought my lungs were made out of straw and I was unable to breathe.

On LSD I just felt really happy and appreciated colors and yoga postures.

I'm looking for a psychedelic drug that resembles LSD were it don't cause anxiety and nervous feelings.
 
In my opinion, theres no easy answer to this question. Reading a lil bit around the forum might give you some ideas what to expect, but really, everyone reacts in their own way to each substance. Just like you dont like mushrooms, others enjy them above all else. So really, you just have to do a little research and bite the bullet and test what best sounds for you, but there will never be any guarantees.

Also, every substance has its own effects profile and none are equal, so a perfect match for lsd you will not find.
 
You should change the title, you aren't going to find an RC like LSD, at least, every other drug is different significantly and so can't be compared.

However you're just looking for something more recreational and less deep or anxious, in which case I'd say you should look at the 2Cs, mainly 2C-B, 2C-I and 2C-E. All of those can get very deep, but for the most part they are very enjoyable, recreational, and without anxiety. Also, they can get extremely visual, I can't speak for 2C-B or 2C-I but the visuals on 2C-E are insane even at low doses.

Other than that, going by what you seem to be looking for 2C-x is probably the series to look into. 2C-B, 2C-D and (to a lesser extent maybe) 2C-C would seem to fit the effects profile you are after best. Research them in their respective Big & Dandy threads and take it from there :)
 
Maybe 4-ho-met? As that one seems to be light on body load and smooth on mental fuckery. Just snowed out, maybe I'll dose tonight with that hehe.
 
actually 2ce for me at least gives quite a body load which can lead to anxiety. i think it all depends on the person though.
 
^ I concur. It's lovely stuff but definitely doesn't suit all.

Although you said you don't get on that well with mushies I'd still recommend looking into 4-AcO-DMT cos it is far less head-mashing and much lighter on the body than shrooms are, in my opinion. And I <3 mushies too.
 
well theres two ways to think about. Do you want a drug that replicates lsd or a drug that is similar to lsd. The closest way to replicate the lsd experience without lsd would be to ingest its extremely close ergoline cousins eth-lad, pro-lad, lsm-775, and ald-52. The thing is these chemicals are extremely hard to make and I dont think have ever been commercially avaible on the rc market. Maybe one day...

But untill then, as you now realize, all we can do is ingest the real deal or a chemical producing effecrs similar to lsd, and there really arnt any chemicals avaible anywhere that come close. Phenethylamines in general will come closer then tryptamines, but there still pretty differnt then ergolines. The way I think about it lsd is kind of like phenethylamine meets tryptamine, but that still isnt even getting close. Halogenated 2c-x's (2c-b, 2c-c, 2c-i) and their amphetamine cousins (DOB, DOC, DOI) are probably among the most "recreational" psychedelics out there and are probably what you are looking for. The 2c-x halogens are extremely easy going and mild at low doses, and even at higher doses you will still feel very in control, though you will also be feeling amazing and be having decent visuals. The DOx halogens can be quite strong if dosed inappropriately but at reasonal doses and an understanding of what they do can help prevent any difficulties, which there arnt many.
 
Lighter: mescaline (legally purchasabkee cactus)
Stronger: 4-AcO-DMT (harder to get)

mescaline is the least anxious psychedelic i have tried, you have to eat horrid cactus but after that its euphoria and chill all the way

if you dont like shrooms avoid 4-aco-dmt as they are definitely more close to each other than acid

aMT is very mellow and loved up- very euphoric
 
got a gram of 2ce for a friend of mine VERY experienced with lsd and shrooms. HE said 20mg reminded him alot of LSD. Not to me whatsoever, though. Although 2ce IS the most interestingly visual of the 2C chems... trails/tracers, VERY strong colorshifting shape-morphing afterimages if you stare at something then look away... involuting fractal thought chains in which you get lost without realizing it... strong closed eye visuals... great music enhancement... some euphoria...time dilation. That broad cross-section of effects looks pretty similar to LSD on paper (haha, unintentional joke), but I would be able to tell the difference very easily. Truth is NONE of the RCs, and NO OTHER CHEM "feels like" LSD... though with that effects list, perhaps 2C-E is as close as anything.

very, very good point. I remember when I first got into RC's I compared the erowid effects profile of 2c-e versus lsd. The two matched up almost point for point, here are the links for reference.

Imagine my surprise when I finally sampled 2c-e! Besides for both being incredibly powerful psychedelics I found almost no similarities between the two. I think thats still something the mephedrone fiends are having trouble figuring out, that just because a drug is in the same variety of drug as another substance, just because it acts on the same areas of the brain, it does not necassarily mean they will be comparable at all.

Still I do believe there are probably some lsd derivatives that will come *much closer* to lsd then any of the commonly avaible RC's on the market nowadays, probably none would be close enough that your average individual couldnt tell the difference between real lsd or the derivatives, but who knows. However I am 100 percent against these chemicals being produced, at least not in the current drug using climate. I feel like if there was widespread access to these chemicals the market at large would become over saturated with lsd knock offs. Maybe I'm completely wrong, but I dont think so...
 
LSA perhaps.
easy to obtain and no anxious effects in any way for me. Of course the nasaua is a problem for a lot of people... to each his own. You could also try to convert the LSA to LSH by using a peppermint infusion (extremely simple) and from what i've heard LSH is *exactly* like LSD except it only last 4-6 hours. I Haven't tried the peppermint/LSH technique though so i couldn't say for sure.

4-AcO-DMT are you kidding?

It comes so close to mushrooms... okay it's much smoother and you get the feeling that you aren't too messed up from it at all, until suddenly you realize you are in way deep and if you blink your eyes you see a bunch of entities and there is this whole trippy dreamworld.

Not saying it's not a grade A drug but if you want to get more controllable clearheaded trips definitely work the 2C-X series!
2C-D, very light... 2C-C, 2C-B very gentle and nice.... 2C-I meh its okay.... 2C-T-2/2C-T-7 more complex and deep and serious, 2C-E very LSD like but also heavy and serious. Quite dose-dependent that. Mescaline is AWESOME if you can get it... preferably synthetic, although I feel that cactus can give a more complete experience.
Then if you want to mix it up a little 4-HO-MET and 4-HO-DiPT were more playful for me and were not at all as threatening as mushrooms.
Those fuckers can seriously grab you can't they? :)
