OK, this is probably a dumb idea, or someone's already thought of it, or it already exists. But why (as far as I know), isn't there a central resource, like Wikileaks, or Wikipedia, or something like this where all of you advanced chemists can go, share information and research papers into new RC's and other interesting chemicals? It just seems odd that all of you guys are scattered everywhere across the web, when a simple resource like this could help you to collaborate and discuss your findings openly with each other. Of course you never really have to make anything (so nothing illegal needs to occur). You just need to be able to have a central resource for sharing your ideas and for having your work peer-reviewed by other interested participants. Basically, all I'm suggesting is that you should open-source the world of RC's and RC development.
I'm sure someone's going to come along and shoot me down with a gun and tell me that this already exists, or maybe Bluelight is sufficient for this purpose, but I don't think it is. There is too much non-specialist discussion that goes on here to make this all that viable an option for RC development.
The ultimate purpose of this (in my own view) should be safer RC development. I am not an RC user myself (rather I am an ex-RC and ex-drug user in general), but I am still nonetheless something of a subversive. I believe the war on drugs has failed and a collaborative effort of this kind will serve as an acute demonstration of the extent to which it has failed. Rather a new approach is needed, where all drugs are legalised and where investment is put into education, fighting real criminals and in developing safe recreational substances that will satisfy the public demand for these. The goal as ever in this case, would be harm reduction.
Anyway, like I said, if something like this already exists, then ignore this message, but if not, certainly someone should consider at least giving it a go.
