I live in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne so out here its like a birth right that you get some moronic personalised plate... I really have a bit of a hangup about it cus it drives me crazy... Spesh when they go on to state the fucking obvious as you'll no doubt see from my little speel.
All the regular fare such as:
SIKXL MADXL TUFFXL and the more subtle EXCEL all on Hyundai Excel sprints.
Commodores we just have everything under the sun.. SIKVK5L yada yada bullshit yada... Is one guy I saw getting around in a White VN (or VP) with SIKVP8 cept it was missing a dash and it was an auto-matic v6... ph34r my hatred of miss-badged posers.
Apart from blatantly stating the obvious 'HSVGTS' 'HSV VP' 'HSV VL' 'SIK SS' .. Red celica getting around with "MADONA" and down at the RTA "AGASSI".
Best plate I *had* seen was stated earlier, white Subaru STI with black/gold webbing across the entire body, was a show car, plates WRXTC but then I got surpassed by a guy I used to race with.
Midnight black/pearl dark blue spray (Like obsidian black with this under-cut of blue that just caught the light). Absolutely massive gold 19"s, cross-drilled / vented upsized rotors, 235 / 245 f/r's, total light-tan leather interior, 6 spd, lowered, full HSV body kit on a brand spanking new 260kw HSV Signature VT .. He'd walked into the factory and gone 'Right, i want a car for *ME* that no-one else has... Do *this* to it' as he had 15 years motorsport interest...
Anywayyyy this thing just comes flying into the pits at Sanddown at 5:30 in the morning, starts sliding sideways in a lovely controlled drift through a gravel patch and *roars* to a halt about 2 metres away from me. The door opens and this guy pops his head out goin 'Hey ya like it??' and the plates were DECIM.8
Long story I know, but it was a bit of a 'ooaaahh' moment if you can get your rocks off to motors

And yes, I always write saga's... I'm bored in the mornings

****
P.S. I *will* have a personalised plate, it will simply be my three initials. Plus it will *only* be when I can afford a car worthy of it (100k+ [and I can afford to buy it from the guy who currently has it, and that being a dude in Prahran with a gun metal Carrera])
