Rave Annoyances

Hmm, many ravers I have met have more soul than anyone else I know. You must be referring to drugged out teenagers, which are common at raves too. Dig a little deeper and you will find some really interesting, worthwhile people that want to make a real connection with you. Those are the ones that make the whole experience worthwhile. They aren't too difficult to find, either.

Yep, if anyone has a lot of candy at a rave, you MUST make a point to talk to them, and I can almost guarantee you they will be very friendly.

Pretty much the only thing that annoys me at raves are people who are just really drunk, totally not the spirit of raving.

also people getting too fucked up is a bunch of bullshit.

ive had two experiences at raves with people that are too fucked up that really damaged my night.

one was just last month at a festival and wasnt that much of a big deal but still sucked. there was this hot ass girl i met at the club a few weeks ago and we agreed to meet up at said festival. after walking outrageoulsy far trying to find her i did. at first we were both rolling and it was awesome. but then her mental state started declining quickly and it eventually got to the point where she was saying the same few phrases in a loop and randomly screaming and freaking out. luckily her friends were there to take her home but still feels badman. basicly she went crazy right before my eyes. the next day she said she took 4 pills. the first 2 she took were good but then aparently before we met up she took another 2 pills which i found on edata 1 caffeine 1.5 5-meo-dipt and 3 unkown. wtf man?

the second time was this last new years. I got really great rolls that night and i was sitting in some rows of seats that backed up to a walk way. the roll hit and it was by far the strongest of my life. not 10 minutes later i feel a strange warm sensation covering my back. at first i couldnt tell what the fuck it was, but then i reached and felt my hand and to my horror my back had been completely covered in vomit. i turn around to see some chick fucked up out of her mind completely incoherent puking everywhere. my roll got completely killed right then and there and i tried for the rest of the night to bring it back but nothing would do it. i didnt feel good for even a second the rest of the night i just felt sick. LUCKILY i had two shirts on and it only got on my shirt and not on my skin/hair. but still. that sudden change in emotion really fucked with me. even now 9 months later i can still feel the horror whenever i think about that.
 
i hate the large groups of people who like to find the most inconvienient places to walk through the middle of the dancefloor while everyone is trying to dance. shit is irritating.

people stepping on my pants.

bunk drugs.

asshole bouncers that like to fuck with ravers.

thugs and cholos mean muggin' everyone and acting hard.

babysitting.

people who pester the fuck out of me for a cigarette or to hit the green.

fucking whistle kids.

and most of all...EXPENSIVE WATER.

also, @Number Love, its funny, around here, I usually assume if you have a bunch of candy, you have absolutely zerp soul...its the kids who are there in comfy, normal clothing who are the down ones, and the kids in fuzzy boots and candy sleeves who are fucked up posers

It's probably been mentioned already, but this goes for clubbing too..Nothing annoys me more when someone drop's their guts while being in the cuddle puddle or dance floor..Where ever it may be..for fuck sake mang..at least go somewhere that's vacant or outside.

If I separate from my friend/group, I tend to chill on the side to see if I can spot them but I keep moving around. I honestly dont like wandering alone, makes it difficult for me to meet new people (sounds kind of opposite, but thats how I am). I prefer groups clicking with another group/couple/individual/etc.

They look scary as fuck and there's at least a dozen of them.

They don't move.

They just stare at the half-naked girls.

Every thirty minutes they'll point at someone and laugh.

They're probably the members of some violent gang called the "wall-flowers" that I've never heard of.

....is this an overseas thing? cause, yeah, i see those guys, but they look like the ones that come out because they want to have fun, but just dont know how....and thats an annoyance to you? i feel sorry for them....if it hadnt been for years of training myself to actually talk to people, i might be one of those guys....if they aint doin nothing, whats the big deal? in fact, why arent you introducing yourself?

Not at all man, I just don't understand why they would pay whatever for a ticket just to go and sit around and do nothing..Fair enough if they're freaking out from whatever they indulged in or they just need to chill out for a while, but yea i guess i just think it's stupid if you're going to go to an event and do nothing :\
 
It's only an annoyance, because they're in 3 parts.

1) Judging people on the dance floor.
2) Too fucked up on mystery drug.
3) Waiting silently for the girls to get fucked up, and strike.

I know my anti-social people. I always make sure they have a good time :)
 
yeah see, i can understand, though not agree with the people that show up and are either a)too shy or b) too fucked up, and just wal hug, but creepers? fucking HATE HATE HATE creepers....ruin the vibe for everyone, even if you arent a target, its just a slimy feel that drifts across
