Rave Annoyances

people on ket are annoying, falling all over the place scaring the shit outa everyone and they always have a evil look on there face

fuck ketamine and fuck keta beats (dubstep) keep that shit out of my DNB!!!!
ketamine is honestly the stupidest drug on earth and i can speak on it cause ive done themm alll. ketamine is "lets snort this line, ok, that burned, whoa everthings blurrry, dude look at that wall bend, i cant stand, hold me up, im velcroed to the wall, i know whats going on but cant open my eyes, ohhhhh eyes are open, thats it its over?"

people that ask for a sip of water and drink your entire bottle.

those mother fuckers! i know what you mean, i hate wen i let them take a sip yoru friend says something, u look at them to respond and the person is walking away with it. what goes thru my head as they walk away is "fuck you bro get your own 3 bucks!". then i gotta turn them around (without getting punched) snag my bottle back and tell em, "fuck you bro get your own 3 bucks!" i dont get how people go to raves with not enough money to buy waters?!? i cant believe these retards spend all there money on tickets and pills and dont care how they survive it. fucking moron.s

Lol! My husband and I were at a rave recently and split up for a little while. While he was away a guy came up to him and asked "Do you like boys?"
Husband: "No, I'm married."
Guy: "Do you want to like boys?"
Husband: "Uh, no."
Guy: "Do you want boys to like you?"
Husband: *walk away*

And fuuuuuck invasive searches or rude security/event employees altogether. I can't STAND it when you have some rude bitch running the pre-sale list or something that is screaming at you stand aside and show your ID at the same time. Calm down lady. I'm a human too. Or the security guard that pulled out a big bead from my friend's back pack and proceeded to interrogate her about it and what it contained (it was just a bead.) Drugs are going to get in. That WILL happen. No need to be rude about it.

you being married spiked this memory, i met this old lady at edc (well old compared to most ravers prolly like late 30's) she was such a sick raver. she was rolling so i gave her a lightshow, then she asked me if i wanted one! of course i did, she busted out just an average pair of gloves with l.e.d.s butttttttttttttt had glowsticks attached to them too!!!!! after it was all said and done shit busted out joints! yeaaaaaaaaa that was great

I had somebody ask for some of my water once (I'm pretty sure dude wasn't rolling though), and then he proceeded to twirl the bottle around just to splash it on everybody. 8o For about 3 seconds, I was absolutely mortified... But then I realized I still had 2 more bottles on me, so I got over it... But handed out no more water to sober folk. :\

That's the kind of thing that makes you want to cry at first...esp when you're rolling. Very inconsiderate.

Yeah. That's my thing. I'm a total giver. Since I don't know how to give lightshows or anything cool like that what I do is try to good trip people by giving things like balloons, diffraction glasses, cigs, weed, mints... whatever it takes to make you roll harder.

I'm glad to have known that giving you the balloon would have blown you up.

That made my heart start pounding just thinking about it!! Next time I'm out on e I'm definitely bringing some presents for strangers...I would be SO happy all night if that happened to me! <3

^ Cool. Just make sure you give to the receptive people, and not the type that'll put you down or look at you in disgust. These types of people do exist (rude people) and it kinda kills your roll when that happens to you as I previously posted. I wish I could run into more people like you at raves. It blows me up to know I've blown you up.

At the last rave I went to, I went around handing out gum to people. It was one of my best experiences at a rave....In return, I had many thanks, happy faces, and even got some things in return. :)

As someone posted before, people who feel the need to stare you down or look hard, like take that shit to a fucking rap concert, w.e nothing on rap I like it, but a rave is supposed to be different and people that tend to go to rap concerts are like that. Also I hate when ppl cut line, like Ive been standing here for 45 minutes and these dipshits just walk up and cut all of us, I dont like to be a tattle tail but I had to piss. Funny thing is I ran into them and apologized that I screamed WTF for cutting the line and explained I had to piss really bad and it was all good

Ohhh I hate that too... but unfortunately I'm guilty of it as well. It took me a while to realize but whenever we went to events we'd meet up with our friends and head to the front of the line where one of my friends would start talking to someone he knew and I just figured we had someone saving our spot. Nope... apparently that's what he does, just cuts 5-8 people to the front of the line cause he knows EVERYONE. Once I found out I felt suuuuper guilty.

This, in combination with shitty organizers who didn't know what they were doing once let me and my friends to stand in line (more of a mob than line... part of why it took so long) for over an hour to get to the will-call booth. After I got my wristband I got into the rave in under a minute. It was ridiculous. Some other Seattleites might remember this night back in January...

Which venue? There are quite a few that just plain fail at the whole line bit. Like, I love love love the look and feel of the Raineer Brewery (I feel like I'm in Hackers!) but the line there is always soooo terrible. Same with Studio 7. I saw some poor girl getting squished all to hell in the line-mob at Studio 7.

Did you happen to try going to Versus at the EMP? That was one annoying mess of a mess that was nearly a disaster.

It was at the King Cat. The ORB is AWESOME. Best venue ever. I can completely ignore any line issues for that venue lol. S7 sucks as a venue.

I was gonna go to that but I didn't. I heard it ended up being an ok night though even after all the mess.

I haven't been to King Cat yet. I've heard things about it though, like the slanted floor and lack of ventilation.

And I agree with ORB... but when it's wet it's kinda sucky since EVERYTHING gets muddy and you can't sit anywhere... until you don't care about your clothes. But on dry nights that has to be my favorite Seattle venue.

And yeah, Versus ended up pretty good, even though the venue they ended up at WASN'T EMP and WASN'T very good for a rave. Hot hot hot, none of the staff was prepared for that kind of crowd and even though we got VIP for that night, we got no perks at all. Oh well.

And I personally HATE Motor. Most of the things I find annoying about raves are from that venue. Drunk people, an older crowd snob nosing the high kids, reeeeally friggin' high kids, pushing, crowding, hot hot hot, tiny smoking section, constant crowd movement from one end of the venue to the other so I constantly have shovers and toe steppers, and rude employees. Yet that's where all the good shows play. Sad. At least shows there are really cheap or free for 21+!

I dont like the creepers that stand there staring at girls. i went up to one and asked him why he was lookin at my girl and he just fuckin bolted out like a sketchball.
I dont like the fuckers stabbin people with needles and shit thats fucked up.
And i dont like the kids judging people saying that they are tough guys maybe if you went and talked to that person they would be nice and shit but you are just assuming something by the clothing they wear. maybe they just like to feel good as shit and not wear the colorful shit and beads.

Particular rave clothing companys based out of socal working with the cops. I used to rep that company hard, id wear all the freebies they tossed me. UC's were wearing it at LF how did u let them buy it? Sellout company! F off to you colthing company!!

That is really fucked up. Man.

Reading this whole thread makes me want to go roll face and just start giving things to ppl i know are having a good time already, i love it when ppl will come and chit chat for a little while, what i hate is the meatheads there with their g/f's acting like their super hard and ready to knock you out, i just get a bad vibe when i see those people and tend to head the other way. (unless shes really really hot then i must dance!!!)

Plur. Everyone doesn't love everyone, they're just on drugs.

People looking down on me when I decide to not roll of do a psychedelic and end up taking an opiate or benzo... I've been called a junkie by someone who was clearly on meth pills.

People asking if it's my first rave because I'm dressed normal, um no I've been going to these things for four years.

People who insist on waving lights in my face when I don't want a light show.

Fat girls who come up to you and try to make out with you.

Needy people... When some people roll they expect other people to take care of them/give them free shit. Unless you're about to die you can get your own 5 dollar water. and no you can't have a free pill, that shit costs money.

People who put their mouths on your water bottle

people who go up to you and touch you

the random touching scares the shit outta me sometimes, ill be totally in the zone eyes close letting the music take over and BAM! theres a rub on my neck!!!!!! totally wigged out man, had to go collect myself after that one
