Kaiserdisco - Espandrillo

The groove grabbed my attention right from the start. Lee Burridge always plays a few of these quirky house tracks in his sets (and hes long been my favourite DJ). The track didn't make me feel emotional, but thats not really the point of it - its just a very very cool DJ tool. 7/10. The groove reminded me a bit of this next track:

Let's speed it up with my favorite Hardstyle tune out right now; has one of the best builds up I've heard in a long while, very melodic and the bass line is incredible.

You really are a full on house head, eh Star (not that theres anything wrong with that!). This track is more of a bar track then a club track imo. It wouldn't do much for me if I was in a club. I'll give it 5/10.

Very Housey Base Line... same with the meoldy. Should be played at a day time bar in ibiza... I am a real jazz fan, so the jazz melody, the trumpet gets me going, the vocals seem a bit forced, but still nice. Not down my ally..

but 7/10 for effort and something I haven't heard before.

Another 'big' electroey house record. The melodies weren't great, and there wasnt really any structure to the track - it just did the same things throughout. And the 'big', in-yer-face production just isn't my bag. I guess this type of music is good fun, but just not my bag i'm afraid. 4/10.

That track is pretty bananas. It's busy as hell. I dug the sparse electro intro, acid squelches, and sliced and diced vocal/hi-hat samples. It started to get redundant after a while so the little build at 3:00 was right on time. Overall a 7.5/10.

lol it sounds nothing like "tell me why" if that's where you're getting at... and calling it terrible because you don't like hardstyle just makes you sound pretentious. it was like one of the top 50 hardstyle tracks a few months ago

Thizz inspired me to bring it back to the old days, you can always drop this in a club and feel the energy (whether you house haters want to believe it or not)

Rhythm Gangsta - The Crowd Song (Italian Vocals) I go with the Italian Vocals version because, well, c'mon it's beautiful.

^^ the driving, kind of washed out kick drum I really like... gets ready for the likely hard style melody... the hard style bass line... is so over used, but that's hard style for you.. or hard house.. the break downs don't really add to the song, every thing just cuts out, and you get this lovely italian vocal, which doesn't really fit in with the rest of the song... good enough, and if I was at a hard style night, it would get me going...
7/10 for this genre... 5/10 as a dance track with inovation...

Justice - DVNO (la riot remix) a favouritr track of mine, and really opened my mind to this kind of clash/electro glitch sound... with the subtle repeats, and clashes and and mini breaks everywhere... they do a really great job with the breakdown... enjoy ! (I hope :/)

Because it so easy to lissen two, and the production value seems (seems) to be pretty reproducable. Every starts loving hardstyle, cause it's cheesy, then they move or evolve into other genres, i don't hate hardstyle, i just think there are better genres... but however, you'll catch me charging out to some darker hardstyle like no other
