as for the song you posted, 4/10

the vocals is what dropped it so low. I liked the beat of it.

That's not dirty even in the slightest, well at least not on youtube.

Catbread is not dark and dirty? Have you listened to the buildup before it drops? Well each to his own, but that is one amazing tune.

Its not really fair for me to review this record, seeing as its already one of my alltime favs. I'd rather leave it to someone who hasnt heard it before.

I see what you mean about the clicks and pops on that Actress record - their sheer loudness on that record leads me to beleive they were added by the artist using a vinyl emulator plugin, rather than them simply being there because the youtube clip was ripped from vinyl. I dont mind them though. Still, imo theres nothing like the sound of real vinyl :)

to MDMAhead: Heuristic Audio is not the type of electro you'll appreciate straight away, when you'd listen to it a couple of times you'll begin to appreciate it. Also I prefer tracks like 'wisla' , 'death of a star' and 'poetry of sound' to 'a chemical deficiency', but unfortunately those tunes are not available on the tube.

I love the House music, but I don't think most people today would probably get down to that tune honestly unless they are a serious house fan, even then I imagine most people are snobbed into their own little corner of current house, if you know what I mean...
