Heres one, apparently cocaine addiction was an issue in the 1920's aswell, listen to this one with an open mind really interesting lyrics: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p6tfNVbgwu4
I started listening to this only to immediately realise that I know and love it well, great song. Cocaine was very popular around that time. If you like that sort of thing, there's a very good compilation of old blues songs about drugs called "Junkers, Jivers and Coke Fiends", on which "Cocaine Blues" is featured, though I have to say Charley Jordan's version of "Spoonful" stands out as the best inclusion for me.

dope, like this and the other song u posted by pharaoh overlord. "stoner metal" just recently been looking for stuff that falls into that category i like the slow tempo usually prefer stuff without any vocals but i dig the vocals in this song. listened to it a couple times, towards the end it fees like it put me under a spell and i get lost in the music. my gut is telling me 8 but the more i listen to it the more i like it. 8/10

Zelienople - All I Want Is Calm

Birdwatching.

I listened to Zelienople - All I Want Is Calm and found it to be what I'd call eclectic. There was something very haunting about the quality of the singer's voice that I found to be brutally honest and raw, or "real," I guess. I don't often listen to that type of music, but I can't say that I didn't enjoy it. I'm always game to be "moved" by music. It's always nice to hear something new, too. ;D Thanks for that!

Now for a peek at some guys with loadie hair, maybe someone will come along with me on a "birdwatching" adventure...

Fucking awesome. Totally off the hook. This is some classic shit right here. 10/10.

Tiniarwen - Cler Achel
The Bonnaroo thread reminded me of these guys. I'm surprised that they're playing there, but it's a happy surprise ... they deserve more exposure.

Very very nice, i enjoyed that track emmensly, loved the sound, nice n up beat. Vocals reminded me of some Shpongle samples off of their new album. 9.5/10

This guys got some pipes on him.

I liked the song, but it wasn't my type of music. Nice voice, but I didn't like how they did the background vocals. The guitar and drums were pretty bad IMO, but it's still a catchy song. 6/10.

Moving a little bit to the mainstream side of Rap, but I still like it.

Some people don't like the intro, but it explains the verses.

^ singing wasnt very good, nor was the rapping, poorly produced, the subject matter was sincere though. 5/10

Sigur Ros- Glosoli

I thought the song was very soothing and relaxed, plus it was very nice to listen to. At first I was curious what language they were speaking (It was obviously some sort of north European language) but it turns out it was a language they created themselves!

The video went along very nicely with the song! 9/10
