Dagga is an excelent legal alternative to cannibis. Just the flowers are worthwhile though, dont fuck with random foliage. I sometimes even prefer it as it is without the munchies, and almost a bit stimulating.

Calamus is another plant that is way underrated. Most people try dried root or extracts which are shit. Fresh chewed root is the only way to go. The high is clean, euphoric and can get psychedelic at a high enough dose. Synergyzes well with just about everything but dxm.

I dont have any experience with erythrina mulungu or pedicularis densiflora, but both sound quite promising.

Meh, I got excited about the poppy seed tea but I went to the store and 1.5 ounces of seeds was like 6 bucks. And from what I hear in this thread, seed tea isn't really that good. I wish I knew where to get some pills.

Don't buy it in jars, you need a place that sells by the pound. But you're right its a total crapshoot. Two dollars for a bulk pound at retail is cheap, I wouldn't pay more then four dollars.

And another vote for phenibut, but its not very recreational. It won't get you sloshed and messed up, it feels for all the world like time release valium. It is stunning that such a product is sold without restrictions, great for occasional anxiety if you don't have insurance. Also great for GHB/GBL withdrawals.

Propylhexedrine makes me say that. It's crazy strong for being available everywhere.
Ditto, although the physical side effects do indeed blow. The CNS stimulation is FAR better than anything you'll get from ephedrine IMO, but you do have to put up with the peripheral uglies to get it.

P.S. currently experimenting with hydroxyzine pamoate (an excellent potentiator) and tramadol, to see if this is a good enough combination to challenge codeine...

I forgot to mention sida cordifoliola. Awesome pick me up in tea form. Contains n-methyl ephedrine, ephedrine and a few other alkaloids. Far more pleasant than ephedra sinica or sida acuta. Mixes well with blue lotus in a tea:)

Just a note on poppy pod tea... make sure you know your source, because there are 2 types of poppies out there. 1)Morphine 2)Thebaine.

1) Is the one you want

2) Will kill you

Thebaine (paramorphine) is an opiate alkaloid. A minor constituent of opium, thebaine is chemically similar to both morphine and codeine, but has stimulatory rather than depressant effects, causing strychnine-like convulsions. Thebaine is not used therapeutically, but is converted industrially into a variety of compounds including oxycodone, oxymorphone, nalbuphine, naloxone, naltrexone, buprenorphine and etorphine.

Take care

Two points, you would have to take a whole lot of pure thebaine to cause convulsions and become fatal, a couple of pods isn't going to do it.
Secondly there has been no evidence that the high thebaine strains of poppy have made it on the pod market, not one report. For one the farmers of them have more restrictions placed on them then normal pod growers, and second any pod vendor selling high thebaine strains would instanly get a bad reputation that would kill their business. Remember people aren't buying pods from some street corner they are buying them from long lasting sites and sellers with lots of reputation, bad word of mouth can be killer.

This fear is overblown.

Just information, that is all... where I live there are twice as many thebaine fields as there are morphine fields. 1/3 chance of correct poppy. Just be careful that is all.

Is this available in the United States?

edit: Let me rephrase that. Do stores in the United States carry this?

Anyone tried Glaucine as of yet?? Its an opiate alkaloid with effects similar to oxycodone from what I have read about it. It comes from the yellow horned poppy (Glaucium flavum) and should be legal in most of the world at this point. Sounds at least promising:\

I'm from Australia so the legality will vary.

Spirits: 10/10 - grown a real taste for these, they last a while with a lot of euphoria (2 equal to a decent MDMA roll) and a lot of stimulation. Not much in the way of a come down.

Sub Coca/Neo Doves: 8/10 - very similar to the Spirits, -2 for these because sleeping after these without benzos (alcohol useless) is very difficult.

DXM: 7/10 - after MDMA this was my first really intense drug experience. It loses points for having to chug syrup and having to explain to people that you are high off cough syrup :D besides that I love the high, the euphoria and the insane places it takes your mind to.

LSA (HBWR): 6/10 - good euphoria but pretty tough in terms of body load. Never really had much in the way of visuals off it but mentally its quite strong.

Codeine: 5/10 - its nice, I've dosed up to 480mg (minus some due to CWE losses) and its effects were at best subtle.

Phenibut: 5/10 - effects aren't strong nor intoxicating, exactly as the bottle says: "a general sense of wellbeing, refreshing sleep".

Pop (Aus made, liquid version): 5/10 - nice low level euphoria and stimulation, great for social situations where other more obvious drugs are not appropriate. No real comedown or difficulty in sleeping, loses most points for its cost.

Buzz (Aus made, liquid version): 4/10 - similar to Pop but with much more stimulation, however the stimulation feels like what you'd get from too much caffeine: yuck.

Yes. They're called Benzedrex inhalers. Be careful though as it's quite potent.

What dosage was that?

Oh and just for informations sake poppy pod and seed tea is technically illegal, its just not enforced.

Poppy pods are flat out illegal, they are poppy straw and schedule 2 along with morphine and oxycodone.
Poppy seeds are specifically legal, but once you wash them that "tea" is illegal.

Doesn't matter if the source is legal, and kind of extract containing morphine and other C2 substances is not.

Now realistically I know its defacto legal activity as you couldn't get busted for it, just wanted the record set straight :)

Poppy pods can't be illegal. They are sold openly in craft stores and flower shops across the US, not to mention a jillion internet vendors. Doing the extraction may be technically illegal; I'll be sure and remember not to do it while sitting in a police station. %)

Edit: it is illegal to grow opium poppies without a special license to do so however.

For what salvia is perported to do, I give her a 10/10. As for its recreational value, more of 6/10.

Dang... I forgot about Salvia. I agree with other posters that it can be a useful spiritual tool but is definitely not "recreational".

BZP(+TFMPP)
9/10 A very good legal high. Can provide an intense Amphetamine-like, and also low-dose-Shrooms-like trip. If you can't bear the side-effects (like me), just take a lower dose (~75mg) and then it is very pleasant, enjoyable, just fels good.....

Sadly, BZP is Schedule I in the US, otherwise I would try it.

Ordered TFMPP once which is not scheduled, and the guy sent me BZP instead so I was "forced" to try it =P

Not the most authoritative source but here http://www.erowid.org/plants/poppy/poppy_law.shtml

Like I said your chances of being busted are nonexistant, but it is not legal.

If you find some bizarro shop selling morphine freely that doesn't make it legal.

Just my inner pedant running free:)

Yeah... you're right. Erowid and Microgram both say poppy pods are illegal.

Now I'm confused as hell. I mean, there are RCs that are unscheduled and probably not even analogs, but you still can't buy them from US vendors on the internet, much less OTC. Poppy pods are sold in craft stores. I've seen 'em. And from what I understand, they are mostly P. somniferum.

If some kid brewed a bunch of poppy tea from pods he bought at a chain store, OD'd, and kicked off, would that store not be wide open to the Lawsuit From Hell? Why would they risk this, if they are truly selling Schedule II drugs according to the DEA?

I mean, the DEA launched Operation Web Tryp to nail some small-time US vendors of research chemicals. Morphine and codeine are many times more dangerous, more addictive, and more sought after than 5-Meo-DMT (for example). It should be pretty obvious that the people ordering cases of 500 poppy pods a month online are not hard-core flower arrangers. If the government was confident of getting convictions in Web Tryp, why haven't they launched Operation Web Poppy?

Or maybe they have. :|
