Rash from PST?

Hello, was wondering if anyone here has had an allergic type reaction to poppy seed tea? My friend would get the euphoria, the itchies, but then the itchies became rashes on her elbows, thigh, neck, stomach, and sometimes even face. It was one particular batch that it has happened several times with. She took an allergy tab and it would subside somewhat. Maybe it has something to do with an over stimulation of histamines? The odd thing is, if it's an allergic reaction, why would one still get 'high' from it? Then, at times, it would even cause hot and cold flashes while on it~no withdrawals, all caused after consuming the tea itself. And when the hot flashes came the good feelings would come and go as well.

All and all she's going to attempt to take less and less, to none, and try to stay high and dry instead. ;3 She's also trying to abstain using benadryl sometimes, it helps with the allergies, and as well is kind of a strange euphoric/tired/dazed feeling. Helps with creativity sometimes as well~even though she's quite sure it's not good on her liver. :/ . Eheh.

Anyway, again, anyone else had that kind of pst experience? Or think that benadryl is a bad idea to help stop use of pst and the like?

Sorry was talking about a little more than the rash issue, couldn't help myself. ;_; ..
