wow guys, great job on the bump on this one. Interesting read no doubt but OP is just bitching cause they waanted a coke vending machine.
 
i lived in manhattan for six months three years ago and i have to say the dealer i had was the most reliable coke dealer i've ever had, and his shit was great. it was the best coke connect i've ever had...
 
It works like this: if you're any farther north than Houston, Texas then your shit is stepped on. You may not think so, but trust me, somebody's stepped on that stuff somewhere along the way. I mean, I live in Dallas, and I can easily tell the decline in quality when compared with Houston fire and we're only a couple hundred miles away -- I couldn't even imagine what the cocaine is like that makes it all the way to New York. 8o

And <snip> for an 8-ball?? Man, you guys really need to find a new drug to do. The heroin is bomb as shit in the northeast, I would be all over that. I don't touch the nasty tar we have around here, and I wouldn't touch the nasty white you guys have up there (or shit, even if its the best coke in the world I wouldn't pay <snip> for a ball, that's almost double what it should be worht). Its a regional thing, I guess -- you guys really need to match your drugs to your region of residence. :D

Sorry to get off on a non-manhattan related rant. Bottom line, though, if you're doing coke: be safe, don't ruin your life, and don't get shot or otherwise fucked up! Peace. :)

edit--not sure if this breaks the rules because I technically did discuss some prices and whatnot, if that's the case, I will gladly edit it out or most likely a mod will snip it.

hah maybe.
but most of the time i would really rather be a guy when buying drugs, drug dealers hitting on me most of the time has just puts me in an awkward situation. and i would so love to be able to kick someone's ass if they were to screw me over. :D

Roger&me is kinda right. The shit in Houston was bomb when i lived there and the further north you are it gets stepped on. It goes on the principal that the more hands it touches the more its cost and the more chance you have of someone being into that shit and cutting it further. I dont do the shit anymore cause where i live there is none worth doing and im not that far north like New York is.
 
There are some good ones

Manhattan coke dealers are not all bad! There are good ones of all different ethnicities and backgrounds. But the shitty ones, also of all different backgrounds, are constantly looking for new customers, which makes it easier to meet a shitty one. Good dealers and good customers tend to find each other and have long relationships. If you never met a good dealer maybe it's because your friends are shitty customers.

The good Manhattan coke dealers I've known are not available at 3am, do not sell in clubs, and are looking to get rid of a couple grams at a time minimum, or even more for some of them. They don't talk on the phone, they are very cautious about new customers, their customers are very protective of them, and they don't hang out getting high with customers. They have regular hours and they show up when they say they will. Prices are nonnegotiable and you can reckon they'll be 50% higher than the scumbag you're used to dealing with.

If you want to find one I recommend making friends with bartenders, party promoters, models, strippers, lawyers, wall street brokers. People who have been doing coke longer will have more of a clue about quality product and where to get it. I know guys in their 60's in Manhattan who are well connected for decades. It's not like bud where the college kids have all the hookups.

And there is still good coke in NYC but it is hard to find these days even at the wholesale level. It is just going to cost you. Prices for high quality coke went up by 50% in mid-2007 and they have not come back down as of April 2010.
 
Shit, the stock exchange was crazy when my friend worked there. We would push Vikes there, and they would pay full price- no deal for quantity since we were nice to deal with. My friend said the coke there was nuttz, and he would goto the bathroom and some dudes were busting out ziplock bags of yayo. Must be nice to be a legal exchange dealer so you can make money to buy illegal drugs.
