Valleys, hills and the like. It's a lovely environment to be around. Though flyovers, concrete, dual carriageways and row upon row of semis do have their own kind of charm.
 
Be cryptic then :p just wondering where in these islands your country memories were made. (if indeed it was these islands, that's a bit of an assumption)

Hope it was an open one Sam, always preferred special myself but morning should never be carbonated, I was getting up at about 5am before I fekered my Knee to avoid the early morning freaky dream stuff now I have the pleasure of waking up to a body with no pain meds left in it, I'm sure the lack of Benzos isn't helping either. Still there is BL, TV and a bit of peace and quite whilst I lounge on the sofa so its not a bad time of the day, miss walking the dog though.

@ Knock, apologies mate I should have typed Techno, Techno, Techno, Techno, but I couldn't be arsed ;)

Mornin Marmz, I to share your dislike of the things in urban areas, you'd be better off with one of these though:-

I've already mentioned this in the listenings thread, but I wondered if you knew Lightning Bolt, Sam?

This is the last track off 'wonderful rainbow'. Goes well with coffee and the dawning realisation that I'm meant to be doing loads of things today and have no idea what they are:

I do know Lightning Bolt as it happens! My recording engineer / muso friend inrtoduced me. It's pretty unbelievable how massive they sound for something so essentially stripped.

Funnily enough, the last band I saw was a bass / drums duo who sound similarly huge, but not quite as frightening.
 
If you get a chance, see them live, the astonishment at the enormity of their sound will only be multiplied!

They also wear scary masks.
 
I'd love to go on Masterchef, but I couldn't deal with all that waffle about wanting to do this for the rest of my life. I just want to be in the competition and learn for fun. I'm not exactly an excellent cook by any means, but I reckon if I knew I was going on there i'd cook 10 meals a day in the months running upto it and get really good. It would totally fuck my workingout up a treat though. I don't think they'd it if I presented them with meals that were like 70% protein :D
 
The guy holding the pork bears a bit of a resemblence to David Cameron. Especially Cameron yesterday when he was trapped by the Argentinian president.

I loved that dog too! I'd totally forgotten about that programme.

When the dogs from childhood TV favourites start dying then you know time's marching on.
