I occasionally get a nerve pain in the side of my face that doctors have diagnosed as Trigeminal Neuralgia... Somewhat dramatically telling me I would need to be on a really strong med (Tegretol) for the rest of my life.
I found, thank fuck, that If I just take it P.R.N * for a few weeks the face ache tends to fade away for several months, sometimes years.

When I'm in Tramadol withdrawal I 'get maddening, loud thinking' ( thats the only way I can find to describe the S/e because its not racing thoughts exactly). The Trileptal soothes that at a low dose.

I'm not a doc though and everyone reacts differently just relating what has helped for me the couple of times I got off it.

*Edit .. missed the last post CoreContax.. why tempted.. do you need to do stuff off or just dont feel you can handle it today. Its possible its going to be more of a challenge to get off it the longer you leave it IMO..

I hope that doesnt sound bossy.. I dont want to see you or anyone in the kind of unrelenting agony I was in for about a week.

cheers mate, glad to see you're posting here again, hope the wd's are gettin easier, yeah its pretty grim over here what with all the shit happening, but yeah got a plan sorted, going back to devon, living with mate at first until my other mate gets sorted then we get a flat, so hopefully all will be good soon :)
 
iv got enuf Cocodamol and tylex to do a CWE for 380mg, but everytime i do it i think...surley some of this paracetamol is getting through, even though im doing it right....hmmmm

I know what you mean YPDH, it just never shuts up when you're withdrawing. You wake up thinking really strong thoughts that pull you out of your 5 minutes of kip.
 
tbh if you get your cwe tek right and use COLD water the maximum paracetamol you will get is 1g per 100ml so use as little water as you can, and keep it cool and you will be fine, trust me

Sound mate, I am following the plan formally discussed :] however my tap doesn't really get cold enough i don't rekon so might have to wack some water in the freezer for a bit first

Like BCF says, the maximum amount of paracetamol you'd get in 100ml of water is 1g, which is about as much as i'd take to stop a headache anyway.
As long as you don't fuck the CWE up you'll be fine.
And the DPH you'd just snorted will stop any uncomfortable histamine release side effects i'd imagine.

Carbamazepine doesn't sound too great at all from a brief scan of wikipedia. Good that you only need it as and when.

Strong, negative and emotional with a seasoning of bitterness.. urghh.. Tegretol totally voids that out and leaves a divvy but blessed empty head.

Anyway, best not to overdo the list of w/ds or how hard Tramadol is to come off ( which I've doing sorry Tram people reading).. YMMV

Only problem is i don't know if I have anything to measure out around 100ml water, il have a scan about though. Just out of interest though, I mean everytime ive done a CWE ive been fine, does that mean your doing it right? or would it take a trip to the hospital to know you did it wrong lol, that's quite a blunt question but u kno wot i mean
 
Its not usually used as and when Munroe... but ive found it works in the short term for withdrawal. It has a whole list of nasty s/e which is why I was shattered when the doc told me it would be a life long thing. I neednt of been it wore off after a few weeks.

I think i've done a reasonably safe Cwe if the end liquid is reasonably clear.

The cloudiness is just the binders and fillers. I don't think the paracetamol content affects the cloudiness of the fluid one way or the other. I think the valium i've been getting have been piss weak, I just took half of some new one I got and it's almost making me fall asleep. I wondered why people slagged off the pk pills.

A few folk on here have mentioned that although 4g is the safe threshold you can still push it a lot further than that. Some people talk of accidentally consuming nearly 8g of paracetamol and having nothing but an upset stomach.

If you've got a pint glass you may or may not have stolen from your local pub, that's 568ml so just under 1/5th of that will be 100ml.
Got any shot glasses to hand?

Alternatively, you could just crush up your pills and add as little water as it takes to get a liquid solution with bits (binders/paracetamol) sinking to the bottom.

Thought blistered roche were the most counterfeited diaz around? Cause they're such a reputable brand that's the one all the fakes try to imitate?

-Didnt know that about the blistered roche! your prob right, all i know is that the loose ones i got were shit in comparison!

- Just found a sports water bottle with ML on the side! happy days! so il jus fill that up to 100ml then!
