Mr Monkey: Hoped you might chip in with words of wisdom there. I suspected that may be the case - the not being arsed to deliver cos he was depressed bit rather than actually nicking 'em. Didn't read the full story and can't find it on their online site so dunno what happened in court. The bit I did read was very specific about the number of items stolen though so you're clearly correct that the stuff's been recovered. Hopefully the next week or so (or whenever the investigation is over) will be like birthday and xmas combined =D
 
Well I was happy with it. Ive got £400 worth of parking tickets to pay off.


I summoned up the strength to open my denial letters the other day and they were all shouty and telling me they are in their rights to take my car blah blah shout shout...

So the wunnas going to the ticket fund.

I like carbooting anyway.. just chuck my junk on the floor watch the world go by and take money off people.

Had 3 glasses of wine in the evening, but it ran out. Dont have my passport with me at the moment, so I couldnt go buy more even if I wanted to. Just vented to a good friend about whats been going on in my head :\
 
yeah, it can take a week or two to get everything back in order, but 14000 items isn't a huge amount (it's a lot to nick, but as in daily post to a delivery office its fuck all, probably about a quarter of the number of items they'd normally have)

I'll habve a dig on a top secret royal mail site and see if I can find the specifics shambles, it might help if you pm me your delivery office name.
 
if it's the delivery office I've just PM'd you, the bloke had destroyed a lot of the mail, and RM have already delivered the 3000 items that were intact...:o

no, it was an office in the rough geographical location shambles lives, where a postie was done and in the news this week for just under 14000 items, i think theres a very good chance it's shambles' office.

potentially totally random though yeah =D
