Morning EADD :) It's another gorgeous, sunny day out here and I'm off work for 3 days now woo hoo!

Flu shit is subsiding and I'm feeling a lot better. Though I'm surprised by the massive amount of snot I can produce haha I tell you it would be dripping down my face it I didn't blow my nose every 5 mins, fucking disgusting 8(

Alas, Typically boring of me, I don't do revenge. Toyed with the idea of damaging my ex's beloved car once, but this was 20+ years ago, I was young, hurt and not emotionally mature. Never did it, though enjoyed the thought and mental planning :| I have a nemesis at work, someone I clash with a lot - but my line with her is - I'll do this better, be more successful etc etc, so the mutual barbed competition between us is actually quite positive. And we know it and respect each other for that. It makes for good sport at work too :D

Thankfully I've never really been in a situation where the emotion of revenge has been called for - even if it was, my philosophy in life is very much "let it go" and don't waste my time or energy on it.

Heavy shizz for first thing eh :)

The few times I've taken revenge, it's just made me feel worse than I did before! At school my friend wouldn't shut up and he got us both into trouble by talking to me. I gave him a thump after school, he ended up wheezing and spluttering so badly I thought I'd done him serious damage. I ended up crying and apologising then carrying his bags all the way back home! It was shit all round.

Revenge seems to carry so much more malice than the original crime ever could, it seems poisonous.

I tend to let things go rather than devote further energy to tearing myself up inside over something. there's some native American concept that we have a good wolf and a bad wolf inside us and can feed the one we choose to... that's definitely bad wolf food. I quite like that idea. No I don't own any dream catchers.

I have schemed and plotted a lot but, with rare exceptions when I was younger, the plotting and the raging about it to other people have burned off the badness.

Never say never, though. There are two people out there who I'd love to assist in their appointments with a cosmic custard pie. One of them's been on the list for five years.
 
5 years is a long time to want to custard pie someone jan :D

Revenge, malice and bitterness are linked i feel. Bitterness is an ugly emotion too :(

Well done! Are you planning to keep yourself busy today then? It's lovely here, is it the same where you are - why not go outdoors? I'm a great believer that the body needs daylight and fresh air in the name of "sleep hygiene".

Though I appreciate that's easier said than done for some.

I reckon I will weed today - I rock %)

One daren't ask where the stolen sandwiches come from - but have a great day urbain <3

I have donned my favourite sundress (its first outting of the year) and have my hoe out lol, nothing for it - the garden & sunshine calls %)

Re the revenge thing. I can only really think of one occasion & it was just a case of bigger boy acts the cunt to me (almost physical violence, threats of "You're getting fucking stabbed right now" etc), so even bigger boys boot fuck right out him at a later date. The simplest form of street justice hahaha.

It had it's desired effect - made me feel better & whenever I see this cunt now he's all "Alright wee man, what you been up to? Here, sorry about all that shit before, I was out my nut" haha. Prick.

These things do have a tendency to escalate under normal circumstances so I wouldn't exactly give it as advice. I just made sure that the folk who pulled him up are the sort of people that he doesn't want it happening twice.

how did you heist the sandwiches urbain? was it a stick up job?

revenge sometimes must be done :sus:, i'm not going to say what i did but it contained nitromors and was done for a similar attack on my property. it felt very good.

i'm going to twat things with a strimmer today - only fun part of gardening for me %)
 
I was out with the strimmer yesterday. Waving it around and watching it glide through things is EXCELLENT. Picking what you've strimmed up isn't, so I don't.
 
my strimmer is a bit old school and was made in the days when safety was not considered so has a tendency to shoot bits of plastic strim at your legs, that's the only non fun part, but yeah chopping everything to bits is great. also hit a frog by accident before as well and it exploded, that was traumatic for me. :|
