Do you get plenty of shrooms where you are Shambles?

Id love to be sat in a sunny shroom field right now. Sat with my back against a tree, tripping my head off and chatting to caterpillars. Id be smoking a big fat, perfectly rolled joint and wondering if my bin bag is going to be big enough for my haul.

Always used to, Yella. Suspect they've been a bit overpicked though cos they've not been quite as plentiful these last coupla years. Still pretty plentiful though. Loadsa libbies and also quite a few of one of those other stronger species I forget the name of - they can kinda take you by surprise if they get mixed up with the libs 8o

Fuckloads of Fly Agarics every year too for those that enjoy them. Am not mad keen on 'em meself but make for a nice change sometimes.

Rather fancy getting back into growing cubensis though. Dead easy, cheap as chips and a nice, steady supply of swirls. One day I'll get me arse in gear and actually do it instead of fancying doing it 8)
 
I vividly felt as though I had left my body and was looking down on the earth from space when I had fly agaric mixed with Robotussin. It was the strongest trip that I have ever had.... well worth the vomit.



Edit: You all know this but just in case a googler comes across this and thinks theyd like to see the world from space I'd like to add that some Toadstools that are seriously poisonous look like Fly Agaric.
Also I tried the experiment several more times and there were no space trips but lots and lots of puke.

I had a friend that used to grow shrooms but stopped after he extracted the psylocybin from a load of them, he hasn't touched any psyches since! when asked about the trip he just mumbles and changes the subject, i wonder what he saw!
 
thought of a really cool tshirt idea.. whilst gathering up all my crap I came across a dirty black tshirt I must of been wearing when i last had a few 80mg oxies, theres the perfect (if a little smudged) imprint of the green coating with the backwards 'OC' and '80' visible, was thinking it'd be cool to make a design with the diff colours of the oxycontins splattered on a black tshirt

May not make much sense written out but does in my head! ;)
 
Ha! Extracting psilocybin is pretty fuckin' dedicated to the cause :D

Given that 4-AcO-DMT is pretty easy to acquire and is converted to psilocybin in vivo I'll stick to that for now though. Psilocybin itself is also available as far as I know (4-HO-DMT?). Actually, that just reminded me that I may have just about enough 4-AcO-DMT left for a lil swirlzyfunfun if I give the baggie a damn good scraping sometime. Woot for recently-recalled dr00gs =D

PolkaDot: Have never used DXM meself but sure I've heard of folk combining it with Agarics to great effect. They're both dissociatives and noted for their euphoria so could see how they might make a winning combo. Am always a bit wary of Serotonin Syndrome issues with DXM combos though even if I were to get around to trying DXM itself. Maybe one day... Sounds like you certainly enjoyed it anyway so that's at least one glowing recommendation to be going on with...
 
DXM is trippy, trippy stuff. I bought a bottle to potentiate my codeine linctus (separate purchases ;)) and ended up so incredibly fucked and seeing tlotr characters morph in front of my eyes for reasons I still don't fully understand.
 
You'll have to get your arse over to Bristol with everyone else Shambles, then move onto some housing from there. Do you reckon you can resist opis these days?

When I was on holiday when I was 17 I chugged a bottle of super strength greek prescription throat medicine, which must have contained DXM because I started drinking and got ridiculously fucked. I was just laughing my ass off, taking the piss out of everyone and everything - although I doubt it made any sense to anyone else. Then when I got in at 4 I just rolled around in bed for what must have been hours laughing my head off then sleeping :/
 
^^ I would imagine that the reasons for morphings may be related to taking a psychedelic dissociative, Alby. I could be mistaken though.

Would probably opt for DXM crystal if I ever did give it a bash. Any reason why folks tend to stick to swigging syrup? Then again, do have a nostalgic fondness for swigging various other cough syrups so can see the appeal.

MSB: As I said, the problem is housing. You need to have lived in an area for six months (from memory) before you're eligible for housing there. I have no suitable reason for being in Bristol (no job waiting for me, no family there, etc) so I wouldn't be able to pay rent. No pay rent, no roof over head unfortunately.

Believe me, if it was as easy as just picking a place and going I'd be gone. Unfortunately in reality it would mean at least six month being homeless before I even got on the housing list anywhere outside the county I currently reside in :\
 
Interesting, Didn't know DXM potentiates opiates..
I used to love codeine linctus but I find the stuff too damn itchy nowadays and I usually forget anti-histamines so I end up a red itchy mess!

O I wasn't intentionally being a retard. I just thought maybe you might know enough people in Bristol to get your foot on the ladder, maybe? I dunno, given the mess housings in at the moment I probably wouldn't risk it. Single male = bottom of the list.

Ya, single male is not the best position to be in when it comes to housing lists. Waiting list around here was seven years for single males but I got shunted to the front of the queue for medical reasons (one of the few benefits of being a bit nuts :D).

In theory I could move to Briz - or anywhere else really - if I had enough places to stay short-term until I was eligible to join the list... in practice crashing on friendly folks' sofas tends to be a bit of a friendship-killer sooner rather than later :\

Have just started to look into housing options again actually. The council here have started a scheme for people with "issues" who need help finding suitable accomodation and had an appointment coupla weeks back. Was a nice fella and totally agreed that were I am now is unsuitable and prospects of a move to the nearest town seem decent enough. Place is a fuckin' shithole but at least it's just about big enough to call a town which is a start.

Staying off the scag was the initial reason for my hermiting away but have been off the stuff for years now and I can't just hide away forever. Fact is that heroin tends to exist out there in the world - it's not as though I'd have any excuse of ignorance if I decided to start up again really. Fuck. Even being back on the smack would be better than living here for much longer :D

I live in a very plain and basic one bedroom ground floor housing association flat. I suppose it's not so bad in and of itself (other than being totally overlooked on all sides :|). Is the location that's more the issue. And the neighbours. Such a tiny town that everybody thinks they know "my type" and want nowt to do with me other than try to get me arrested or evicted at every possible opportunity. Not even any public transport to the nearby towns outside of working hours either so can't even go elsewhere unless you're coming back by teatime 8)

I think if I could stomach eating the Agarics again I would mix it with powdered DXM.

Actually I see Shambles as more of a cottage man than a mansion man.
