I'm going to liberate myself with a trip to benidorm for a fortnight or two.. I've stocked the freezer up with micro chips and chicken dippers so I'm sure she'll be ok.

Hey EADD :) I kinda went off the bl map for a week or so, hope that everyone is doing well, it's a shame that my most shamefull threadgot derailed (pun intended) I didn't even see what happened to make it go mental, but nevermind.

Oh, and if anyone is bored, please come over to the film and television forum and look at 20 questions, I've been waiting for someone to ask another question or make a sensible guess for over a week now with no response, the film I picked is really not too hard of a film, use some basic IMDB search methods and you will most liklely get a shortlist of about 6 or 7 possible films, take a shot and you might win.

I made a mess last week, ended up missing a couple of days work because I went so far into hyperspace with MXE that I didn't think I was actually going to come back, I guess that is my fault for just racking up line after line and sniffing away, lol. It was fun though and there were no bodily injuries this time :D

I wanna hear all the latest gossip over the last week and a half, PM me if it's not appropriate to drag up old shit in this shiny happy people thread :)
 
Morning EADD, not been posting much due to personal probs at the mo, taking this week to work from home and get my head sorted, got to do my CV today then upload it to monster in hope i get a good job! dont really know what my skills are, ive spent the last 2/3 yrs working in a mail order company/shop where my duties were getting the mail orders ready to be packed up, dealing with customers, maintaining the companies website and social media pages, plus checking off deliveries and packing up orders.

What sort of job do i need to be looking for?! something that has the above duties would be ideal, i know i can make my CV more attractive by mentioning i did web content editing, and social media marketing, thats one bonus but what sort of work do i need to be looking for?!

Any help would be great!
 
I dunno what type of job you could go for (brain is not all awake yet, I might come up with something later), although rest assured you'll be useful to lots of people with those skills, but there are some important rules regarding CVs generally.

Always tailor your cv for a particular job. So once you see a vacancy you like the look of, have a good long look at the job description. There will be various requirements, eg 'must have strong communication and customer care skills, mastery of excel is essential. Good written Welsh is a bonus.' What you need to do is adapt your CV to make these attributes more prominent, in fact your CV and, importantly, your description of your current role should more or less be a rewording of the job description... the key to fit into that particular lock. The person going over your CV will probably have loads to go through, and at every round of the selection they're scanning through CVs and comparing them to a mental checklist of requirements, so make that information extremely easy to find.

There's a thread on this somewhere from a couple of years ago packed with loads of good advice, I'll see if I can find it. Also, if you would like someone to proofread or tweak your CV drop me a line. I know that I write like a slob on here sometimes but I'm very precise and considered when writing formally, innit blud.

What a dreary day this has been so far, and I can't believe it's only Tuesday.

Even worse, I have some 25I-NBOMe to try and so the weekend seems even further away. Though it may take the best part of a week just to go about finding the cheapest, most efficient, yet most HR-friendly way to administer the stuff. The crystals are so tiny that 10mg of it looks a lot less than an equal amount of, say, 2C-B.

Obviously liquid measurement is going to be required, but I'm then planning to use a metered nasal spray bottle to dispense it. Does anyone have any tips / experience to pass on with regard to this? Obviously I'm reading the Megathread in PD, but as always I thought I'd check here too.

I think i have a plan of action, i just spoke with my mate who has recently moved back home cuz his relationship ended, he has been out of work but is getting his job back next week, so he is going to look for a 2 bed flat and will get it all sorted so i can move down and look for work, hopefully my current job will allow me to do some work from home for them whilst im looking for work as its extra money that i will desperately need, has been the most positive chat, i think bristol would be good but i know exeter as ive lived there for 13 yrs! and its my best mate too so it would be fucking awesome if this works out, which it should cuz he will have money and will be able to get a place, then itll just be a case of me finding work quickly as i dont know how much work ill have to do for my current job, but all positive!! :D
