Is Slither about snakes by any chance? I swear all snake-based films are shite unless they're documentaries. Snakes on a Plane is fucking awwwful, but then you watch Anaconda and see how much worse it gets...

In fact I'mma push the boat out and say all films about limbless animals are shite.

Evening, all. Liking all the quality film recommendations. Plenty to keep me occupied with when i've plowed through a few more of these neverending US series. Have recently started on Deadwood cos it's been recommended as summat I'd probably enjoy often enough for me to get around to it. Tis a good 'un. But have noticed I'm finding it increasing difficult to not use the word "cocksucker" every time I open my mouth. Blimey. Who'dda thunk that Lovejoy had such a pottymouth 8o
 
I just looked Deadwood up and I'm actually kinda interested in it now.

Any American drama series with 'Calamity Jane' in the cast list sounds like a winner to me.

Ooh I heard of Slither but not seen, worth it as far as shitey films go? I wish I could legitimately download stuff but uni internet is fickle regarding that so basically dragging my laptop round to the woman's when I can and being like 'yeah babe god i've missed you btw what's your internet password'

Just in from the bar, bit wrecked, got told by the bloke at the bar that he would rather me get cash out from the machine downstairs than pay on my card. Aye right, see the point but I'd rather bang my debit card behind the bar and pay all at once end of night rather than be up and down drawing out tenners.

Will Bill Hickock (or however you spell it too). The Calamity Jane character is great. Reminds me so much of me ex-fiance it's untrue. My ex looked less like a rugby player though.

Always thought it looked shite but have really enjoyed it so far (am only halfway through the first season though). Probably the most swears per minute of anything ever made ever too which pleases me immensely no matter how childish that may seem. Have only ever heard the word "cunt" uttered by a Seppo once or twice in me life before... the first episode alone broke the record. There's fuckin' lethal drinking game potential in there 8o

PS: I also just looked it up out of interest and had no idea that so many characters were based on real people. Thought the Calamity Jane and Bill Hickok stuff was just a gimmick. Live and learn, eh? And what I've learned today is that cowboys swear a lot.
 
I'll be upset if it has a higher s/pm than The Thick Of It does. Malcolm Tucker über alles.
