I can't speak for Marmz but I don't think that was aimed at you Yellow, looking back we all got confused about who was talking about what and it was Ismene that was actually taking the flak but it all got lost in the vagaries of the written word.

Any how let's not start the day with squabbling....we've got the rest of the day to gather ourselves together and do the job properly:)
 
@ yella: I thought you might think that, but honestly it wasn't. it was irony directed at other people who said you were being paranoid, when in relation to that post you quoted yesterday (and only that post, I can't speak for any other things), you actually weren't being paranoid, and Arnolds post today confirmed that [edit] hence why I quoted that post to prove it.

It seems like quite a few people had their hotmail accounts hacked the other month.

Random facebook pages keep popping up as well for some reason even though I havn't logged into facebook for about 2 weeks. Thus far i've had cherrys, effies and Albions pages. Any ideas what that could be about Arnold?

Could well be some malware that you have picked up along the way, doesn't sound to nasty as your obviously still able to use the machine. Is that the only problem your having, I wasn't suer if you were suggesting the other day that your BL account may have been compromised, please mail me or another mod if you have anything to report about your account here.

There are other here who have far more expertise in this area than me but IME account hacking is actually quite crude, either the hacker knows you and has guessed or worked out your password, you have entered you account details into a spoof login page or you managed to get infected by a program that is somehow logging your account info and sending it off for use elsewhere. I'd be cautious about using online banking on that machine until you get it sorted, but I guess you know that.

Personally I run my operating system on a separate hard drive so I can just format the lot if it all goes west, hopefully your friendly computer person will get this sorted for you soon.

I have experienced some sort of contact with a kind of hacker in a professional capacity.....:sus:

I'm not PARA crackhead.. loads of people have been hacked in a similar way it appears. Check out the link.

Hacking seems to be a lot more common unfortunately than you seem to think.

I think (according to ismene) i'm BANNED FOR LIFE from america, so i thought this dream would never come true.. i've actually got a little tear in my eye knowing that today is the day for a crunchy beef taco, i'm not even sad that I have to go on a 330 mile round trip to make it happen.

i read in fast food nation that taco bell was a sure place for food poisoning, so imagine what youll get after bringing thirty home on a long journey and reheating them. i wish there was one in brum. il have to do old el paso.

I HATE DRINKING THE GREEN STUFF... but it works a bit. i could sit on here all day but work to do bye
