Your edit sounds very similar to the information I got in the pack that I got before my account turned to a graduate one. It still gives me a year to clear my overdraft which is easily done in theory, will just have to get used to not maxing it out every month. Even if I have only cut it down by £1k in a year it will still only be about £20 a month in interest. I know I've said it many times before but I do aim to save my money so I can get away travelling in about a year and a half, so the overdraft being 2k is handy as if I manage to clear my overdraft then even if it is no longer an interest free limit I will still be able to withdraw the max from it and take it travelling with me.


I've got some time off work in August, am thinking about maybe meeting up with some blighters during the time, anyone free on any dates during the last 3 weeks of August?

Good to see a few of the older posters posting round EADD again :)

Yeah knock it's horrible stuff, thankfully that numbing has gone away. I honestly think I'd rather dab a whole gram of benzocaine than be injected with whatever that is. Been craving a spliff ever since then so going to head round mates see what crack is few spliffs etc, had a couple ports which has definately helped and maybe a few more diaz, feeling much better though.

Those msj are nice but seem to be hit and miss, with a smoke of nice moroccan or a couple ports though they are just perfect for a nice chilled one <3
 
things seemed to have changed for the better then, in my day they just sent you a letter asking for the £2k back by the end of the week, staggering it over 3 years aint so bad

If you are still using the accounts for transactions they will generally just leave you be, I didn't make any transactions on mine for a certain amount of time and it went to collections. Gave them 50 quid and set up a standing order for £5 a month to be paid into the account and it got them off my back. Stupidly I didn't keep on top of it and got quite a surprise when I got round to checking, ended up paying £250 in interest or so!

I thought it was quite nice of them to leave me alone until I realised I was putting a fiver in and getting charged £20 every month :sus:

it can be the road to running away to america if you are not careful, or maybe it is only mugz that does that on diaz binges 8)


edit - just had a look to see if Stewart Lee was at the fringe again this year and it seems that he is doing the same show that he did last year, already saw it once in Cambridge, was hoping he'd have some new material for this year.

Can anyone recommend some good comedians that are performing at this years Edinburgh Fringe?

My missis graduated 8 years ago and is paying a tenner a month to Natwest, nearly done now, ;), she made them freeze the interest, she's never been charged any interest on it.
 
Am watching a programme on Ch5 at the mo about this American Super prison.
They do the normal searches for weapons, drugs and mobile phones.
One bloke they caught had two phones and the charger hidden up his bum.
Now surely that has got to hurt whenever he wanted to get them out and use them.
Amazing what folk can fit into their brown wallet.

Haha the second they start charging interest it's gone. If they're gonna give me a grand and a half for nothing though, i'll hold onto it for as long as possible ;)

I had a look a little while ago and it was still where I left it. I got 2 student accounts, paid off one and just left that account.
 
The phones would be alright, can get some fairly streamlined ones, lube 'em up I bet they'd slide up a treat.

Charger however, fuck me. Those three prongs are gonna fuck your ring-piece one way or the other. Be it on the way in or the way out.
 
what does msb mean by a pinko?....this threads hard to keep up with it is all very random indeed!!! some very strange stuff going on alright..... one of thereasons i like bl is because its a safe site to come to without dodgy viruses and the like..trustworthy

time has gone too fas since i got home.. had a big to do list to do and some relaxing to been up and down like a yo yo

Why hasn't someone embedded all the mobile phone technology in an ipod or a kindle or something? It would be super stealthy and they'd never check.

Yeah he's lucky that phones are a lot smaller these days,wonder if he still would have done it with the old brick size Nokias that were around in the early 90's?
You really would have to be desperate to talk to folk on the outside if you were gonna risk anal prolapse by trying to fit an old Nokia up there.
