My brother showed me bottom one, I laughed heartily. (EDIT: Sorry, similar one, both peelers standing on top of the van, closer shot, instead).

I got caught up in the rain in Belfast today, was absolutely mad! The noise of it hitting off the top of the trains was deafening.
I probably would've enjoyed the sound of the rain if I wasn't being drenched in it, haha.

Whats he doing?? Has he actaully driven into that thinking he can drive through it, or did he just sit there whilst the water casually rose around him, you cant buy sense.
 
Think hes drove in and didn't realize how bad it was when it was shallower and then the cars just cut out. Should see it got even higher than that. Madness was only after a short time of just heavy rain the whole sewage has completely fucked all over the place.
 
The video on the news is great, the look of shame on the guy's face as he realises lots of people and the police are watching him is superb.

Aye, I think all the people getting trapped were maybe driving through something a bit deeper than it looks, and the rain was pouring so quickly they couldn't get out in time.
 
You've got to be pretty stupid to try and cross that without a snorkel or not notice that it will cover the exhaust.

He does look like a compete fekin twat though:) and most likely a complete fekin twat with a totally written off engine, water doesn't compress as easy as air;)

If you don't know a piece of road floods can be deceiving because they fill up the dip and are obviously flat, but at his age you would have though he would have noticed the OB the other side and at least had the sense to wait to see if anyone else went through. You've only got to look at the pavement to see how much water there is. I wouldn't have tried that even in the tank Rover 8(

Reminds me of a bridge near me, years ago there was a brand new Jag stuck there, only a bit of the roof was above the water, the lights and wipers were still going though :D
 
this weather is shite! although glad theres not loads of flooding and stuff down here... just grey shittyness

Got a cracker wee gift for my birthday, some beers with my name etc as the label but it looks like a bottle of Budweiser. Never seen these before pretty fucking cool. Have a choice between those and some of the new Beer Speciale from Tescos to start off my day. :)
 
^ Nice! My leftover wine from last night is tempting me, only a small glass left.. not in the habit of starting my day off with alcohol but actually fuck it ;)

Birds round my flat are crazy too, I quite like it sometimes but blimey they can be loud! Oh well, managed about 7 hrs sleep which is better than I have been doing lately :)
