Random MSN Gibberings LXXXXI: Homing in on the scent of Shambles

Don't mention the schoolies. Seriously. I have to stop that shit before I get someone's dad after me, or have 'nonce' sprayed on my wall. Again. :D

Hope you're enjoying the sunshine, Mopster!

Shambles - This weather has made people give me even weirder stares for wearing a leather trenchcoat in public. I refuse to put it away in the back of the wardrobe before May though. Principle, like. Till then it's sweat and ridicule all the way.

I'm enjoying thank you very much. Hey don't I fucking pissed myself when you first mentioned what 90% of the male population do especially in this weather however because I have a daughter I'm a member of the 10%.

Hang on does anyone the hetro-gay ratio.... Doh!

I have the exact same problem, Shammy. :)

Warm weather coats just don't cut it for storage, and I'm not a bag person really. Plus I like to wear the kind of trousers that erm... expose the slightest bump. So pocket-overloading is a no-no. Vanity and convenience collide right there.

I might of known sam you dirty old man :)
Wrong thread but I'm starting to rev up for the shitty stadium in Manchester already :)

It's Gibberings - anything goes. And I know exactly how you feel. ;)

Nice to have the upper hand but I still don't see this United team as league winners. Though I've said that about sides before and they've won it. No matter what happens, Citeh are still like a tramp in an Armani suit, and always will be till the day the Arabs get bored and pull out.

I'm sure if I had a daughter I wouldn't even want blokes like me in the same fucking postcode. You're right though - most look, they can't help it. It's great being a slave to your cock, especially when you're going through a patch of not getting any luck whatsoever. Like I am... erm, I mean like my mate is.

Lol love it.
I'm the same mate I think we're the weakest united side for years but when I think of that city fan crying at losing 1-0 with all those games to play, it doesn't matter how weak the side is they'll beat them selves

Always have done - loser mentality. I'll never forget seeing a coachload of 'em coming back from a game at their place when I lived round there, all cheering like they'd won the league when they'd actually just drawn with us 0-0. Unbelievable.

You only have look outside the grounds. Old Trafford jobs and community. The shityhad wasteland and people who need some money.
Now tell me who's got all the money.
Same old city good old united :)

No disrespect to any who lives near that ground but I'm sure those rich Arabs could see a little futher than Asda or the veladrome.

Oh and non to Arabs too but your fucked if we ever get this easy to make electric car on the go.

Funnily enough Moppers, I lived both in Old Trafford (2 mins from the cricket ground) and on Ashton Old Road (2 mins from their place). I actually felt like I was in a community in Old Trafford, whereas living in Clayton was like living in the middle of a run-down industrial estate. Despite there being some good people living round there.

I know mate I went out with a nice girl years ago from Clayton when I worked in Openshaw. I went past the estate a few weeks ago and there were rows and rows of empty houses which pisses me off seeing as the pricks at the helm are banging on about house shortages and people not affording the mortgages or even rent.
60 years ago it would have been a buzzing community and now it's a ghost town.
It's all wrong city should look at their feet instead of their egos but then again they've always been about themselves

Hot weather seems to knacker me. Am all bleary of eye and yawnery already. Only woke up around lunchtime too. Not even sure I can blame the beer cos it's only me fifth can and usually booze wakes me up. This is why drugs beats drinks everytime :|

Except bleedin' footy-chat :!

I kicked a ball once. True story. The thought of being even vaguely intereted in watching some other cunt kick a ball is truly alien to me though.

*cough... footy thread... cough*

;)

Sos bud, but it wasn't really full on footy chat rather the sadness of two mancunians that the place we live and love could get it's former glory back if the social decay of the post war days hadn't been so harsh on us wonderful hardworking Northerners and favoured all the half a lager drinking southerners who wouldn't know the first thing about the industrial revolution that shaped this country.
*wonders if that causes a stir especially with cockney football fans*

I think I once passed by Old Trafford when I occasionally had occasion to visit Mancland. Other than that I know I've passed one of the Glasgow footy stadia. Dunno which one though. Stupidly expensive stadium sat in the middle of a bombsite if that helps identify it. That is all I know of footy stadia.

Exactly what was trying to get at mr shambles. All that splendour, those mega stars this is where all our hard earned wages must go. But as their money grows and grows we get poorer and poorer.
But we must go. We must believe. It makes us escape the shitty boring job, or want for better things.
For me it was never about a ball being kicked around a field but I can't even afford to go now.
I suggest a new sport where the egos pay the devotes.
You may think I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one:)

Hiyer!!!!! I'm in an attic with MonstaNoodle I just joined and he's making sure I know how to post so I am posting this.. without a stamp.. For the record a "Joss Stick" (I call them incense) EXPLODED a little bit BOOOyaaaaaaaa shingles!
I've been told good things so much love to all :) <3

In an Attic with Monstanoodle? There's an album title in there somewhere I'm sure :D

Also, welcome. Any friend of Monsta's is a friend of EADD :)

MOP: Ya. Thought the contrast between multi-million stadia and total degragation of local communities may've been more the point than men wiv balls. Social ills chat I can cope with... but when footy-tinged it still grates a tad :D
