No probs, it's one of my favourite Yorkshireisms! Nice one mentioning Beneath a Steel Sky, remember playing it a bit when I was younger and wouldn't mind a shot at it again now I've been reminded. Massively in love with point n clicks. Monkey Island is definitely worth a bash, the first one in particular is hilarious.
Yeah I'm more of an old skool type myself Shammy, know what you mean about it being a pain to get going though, would rather just have an old machine running Windows 95 than have to do that but that's me. Living with a whole bunch of computer scientists next year and we're planning on making us an arcade cabinet, cannot wait :D Was chatting old games with aforementioned housemate and told him about the ZX Spectrum which was the first console type thing I ever played. Hit up the wiki article and it turns out that way back when, some TV channels and radio stations existed to enable you to download Spectrum games. They were on cassette tapes and all you'd do was record the audio signal that was broadcast onto a blank tape when prompted and voila, new game.
Fucking blew my mind that, it's like 80s Piratebay
Edit: Woo got good taste there then Effie :D Bit jealous of ya actually, would love to be doing same but Fosters and a duvet it is
