A friend I know in her management year of placement for nursing had to pack a guys back with gauze, and from the entry hole to her armpit she could reach. Puts me off my muesli.

most of the forums Ive posted on in the past, and still lurk @ are moderated but pretty much only for admin purposes and not in terms of censored content, thoughts/posts etc. they get by okay too, no actual deaths have been recorded as a result to the best of my knowledge ;p ... possibly a few tears occasionally but it normally works out ok in the end.
there are some shitty places that are uncensored though, it all depends on the nature and purpose of the board as to whether it actually works cohesively imo. good communities can still thrive when left to their own devices socially, at least ime they can.
just got a couple of my weekly gig emails through btw, PIL tickets go on sale friday morning in case youre interested. for UK gigs in august. bournemouth and reading (i think)

Thanks for the tip, I have actually been watching the PIL site and they are playing Hatfield University which is much closer, definitely going to that one.
The free party site I am referring to has almost got itself shut down twice that I know of and its almost impossible to hold a decent thread together with multiple trolls and people juts being generally ultra hostile at times. Some people love that kinda thing.
The difference, as I see it with BL is the subject matter, without some level of censorship it would become a free for all market place in weeks if not days and then shortly after that get shut down. We are also dealing with people who are either on drugs or not in a great mental state so I think some level of control is sometimes required in order that we protect those people and everyone else from harm.
The point of the site is Harm Reduction, so unlike many forums, lets say the golf owners club BL has an agenda clear and this somewhat sets a different set of rules.

I can see arguments for and against modding on a forum like this, really. If it's someone else's posts I'm for it and if it's mine I'm against it.
One of the biggest problems is making sure sourcing and other things that could threaten the whole site are kept under wraps.. that is essential for something like Bluelight when at times we are treading a fine legal line. I think the more HR-orientated forums (and threads in here) definitely benefit from modding - keeping things organised and on track so people can locate information, making sure the correct info is given etc.. BL is primarily a HR site; EADD has evolved and the social aspect is obviously important to us all, but it is not the main goal of the site.

You guys are lucky though, EADD is more lax than pretty much everywhere else on here - since I've been modded I've had to explain a few times about why we've left a thread open or not infracted someone. Whether we like it or not we're part of a bigger site here, and it is a moderated one. My only experience of other forums is squatjuice really, and I'd hate to see EADD turn out like that..

Honestly, that's not an exaggeration. Mods and senior staff from other BL forums are often pretty shocked by what we allow here. Any 'censorship' is usually either cutting out sources or making sure that threads which are designed to be informative don't stray too far off-topic.
The only other type of editing that occurs does so mainly for the benefit of the members who don't participate in or enjoy online slanging matches. Personally I'm partial to a good online slanging match, but if you're not then it soon gets fucking boring and irritating, to put it mildly.
Anyway, what's worse?
a) The fact I saw a flash of bare skin out of the corner of my eye when getting off the bus and ended up involuntarily looking up a schoolgirl's skirt

b) The fact that I came home afterwards to find an unopened can of Zwyiec in my bed?
Hopefully b) will take my mind off a) for a while, but I'll take this opportunity to stress that she was post-pubescent and anyway, when presented with an attractive pair of legs, a heterosexual man will look. Even if it ends in horror at his own depravity when he eventually sees the school tie dangling from just above.

Believe me, the difference in the amount of censorship and moderating that goes on in EADD, and the amount that goes on in Other Drugs, which is probably the most deadly serious and HR forum on bluelight is huge. Censorship is needed on a site such as bluelight, or else it would descend into a drug sourcing free-for-all that would ultimately sign its own death sentence.
If the amount of attempted sourcing/pricing/bad HR advice that goes on in OD also went on in EADD, then this forum would get just as heavily edited and censored, but since this is largely a social forum, none of that really goes on. All that us mods really need to do here is move threads to appropriate forums or perhaps exercise a bit of tactful middleman diplomacy from time to time.

The sundress sounds gorgeous %) you've definitely had a good day charity shop ninja'ing. You must have some "posh" shop areas for top catch like that! A pamper session would be great, can't beat all that nurturing you stuff - however doing your nails and modding is very difficult :D
