Anyway so i went for a lovely walk what a crackig day eh ?
St Davids as well n i'm half welsh by blood .
Really a glorious blessing of a day makes one glad to be about . Amazing how the weather can effect ones mood .
For me it plays a huge part.
I 'm a sunny guy i spent alot of my early years in sunny climates n i think it has had a lasting effect.
California is always sunny n i was their for a long while .
Also Portugal , Spain well apart from Denmark everywher i've spent an extended time has been a hot climate.
I'm lucky as i have the skin for it , still no xcuse 4 using sun protection but back in the 80s we weren't that educated bout that .

I'd imagine it's for repeatedly being asked to stop going on about it in this thread, yet continuing, while saying she was going to stop, but then answering questions regardless. then blaming that on someone for asking questions. which she didn't have to answer and couldve ignored, but continually went back to selectively address. changing her mind several times, but again, continue to fuel the conversation
just because someone asks you a question, doesn't mean it has to be answered. particularly if you don;t want to answer it. she could of taken it to pms or just ignored it. projecting the responsibility [of the fact that she responded] onto the questioner is looney tunes.
I think the default ' I've been persecuted for being misinterpreted' is now wearing a bit thin and irrelevant to the posts she made in this particular thread
I think she was misinterpreted a few times in the other thread [the fag comment was obviously a joke re smoking] and she made numerous other attempts at humour (irresponsibly given the circumstances) but given her lack of clarity generally those attempts understandably caused more confusion. it ultimately shows a lack of respect for the subject matter and those discussing it imo.
I can totally understand her beef with the thread closure tho.

Well, as I understand it the thread closure was more to do with posts of hers being reported than anything else. It's not always totally in the hands of the EADD mods and it was getting hard to justify leaving it open, even though it's generally accepted that EADD plays to a relaxed set of rules.
These relaxed rules are something we have to constantly justify behind the scenes, believe me, and unfortunately sometimes its necessary for us to be a little more heavy-handed than we'd maybe like to be in order to keep our forum's character the way it is. It's not ideal, but it's better that we have that kind of compromise than run the place as strictly as other BL forums, surely?
If the thread had any kind of structure to it then I would've fought for it to stay open. As it was, it was an ill-defined debate (or series of debates) interspersed with borderline gibberish / provocation / general attention-seeking of the kind that instantly killed off any chance of sustained, serious discussion.

Sammy G is right. EADD is a world apart from the rest of BL in many ways, we already have significantly more lax rules than most forums on here and this is something the mods really do sometimes have to fight hard to justify and keep, believe it or not, and it has been that way as long as I can remember.

I really do appreciate both sides to this (and I kinda came in in the midst of it all so am hesitant to say too much) but a decision had to be made - a difficult one but I really do think the right one. Here is not the place to go into the ins and outs of it but am more than happy to discuss it with YPDH when she returns. We do our best, we might not always be right, and I am always happy to discuss any mod decisions I make in here with anyone, would like to make that clear - feel free to shoot me a pm, best way

I really do appreciate both sides to this (and I kinda came in in the midst of it all so am hesitant to say too much) but a decision had to be made - a difficult one but I really do think the right one. Here is not the place to go into the ins and outs of it but am more than happy to discuss it with YPDH when she returns.
