Well I'm totally psyched now ahaha :D

Good point jancrow, how long should I wait to get the most out of each trip? I'd imagine LSD needs similar treatment to MDMA...As in minimum of two weeks between use, or else risk depression and the dreaded brain zaps.

Kate, I'll wrap up warm don't worry. I over dress all the time anyway.

And Dan you've just inspired me to trip round every county in England. Hell, why not Scotland, Wales, N. Ireland and Ireland too. Tripping in the dewy pastures of Wales or up in the Highlands must be incredible. Can't be anything more British!
 
I'm not sure about figures but going on anecdotes from friends I'd leave a couple of weeks if possible... I don't think you're likely to encounter zaps or the like, it's more likely to leave you frustrated that nothing's happened.
 
Don't think I've ever done an outdoor nature style trip.

I always end up being captivated by music videos (even TV adverts), the more special effects the better.

Seeing things in formation whilst on acid always tickles my brain though. A flock of birds could well be the best thing since sliced bread.
 
Even when i used to live in towns, cities, they completely change when you take a wander by night on acid..

The sound, can go from eeery quiet, to full on acacophany(even though nothing's making the sound).

like Kate says, even trees, hedges, fences, all sorts of things take on weird and wonderful significance, you apreciate the natural geometry...

and watching cars slide down the roads under streeetlamps...

and of course the suspicion, well certainty, that the people you encounter are also tripping always made me chuckle later.....

And, wherever you are, something very weird, strange, or maybe something you'd never imagine will happen...it'll happen, and you'll realise why you went out for that wander....

do it :) would be a right old adventure! havent tried LSD yet myself, might give it a try and keep benzos at hand, go right a journey across the beautiful rolling hills of devon....

ive also been tempted by a bit of MXE on the beach during the summer, only in a small dose though, could be beautiful but probably not a wise idea though tbh with lots of people around and miss dose it wrong end up wonky off my tits

smoked DMT in woods, fields, all kinds of places before during the summer, absolutely beautiful setting as it comes on and comes off. mate of mine ripped the pipe in some woods and felt like he got fucked by mothernature

When I'm back home Berkshire way, I'd love to visit the village cemetery while tripping for the sheer intensity of it, and because this is the view from the hillside:

Cemeteries are the most profound places. I can't fathom the significance of visiting one on LSD.

There's one to add, which is the perfectly innocuous interaction with 'straight people' which leads the group of trippers to scuttle away hissing "they KNEW! They TOTALLY KNEW!" to each other in ridiculous stage whispers. Usually some old codger out walking a Yorkie who bids you a cheery good morning around 6am and is heartened to see younger people with the backbone and moral fibre to get up early these days.

It did, and him, his discription when he came back was "ive just been fucked by something, mothernature or something, it embraced me and loved me" and i was like wtf.... i didnt even tell him about the "being fucked by a god-ess/entity/whatever" previous to him trying it, crazy stuff. few other people that have tried it with me mentioned some sort of a god-ess woman,

wow its been a wierd emotional day today.. really low for a few hours.. sad and mournful..Ive been really tempted to take a handful of pills to 'make it all better' to be honest.. Havnt done so yet but I know its a weakness.. should chuck the lot out really.

As per previous experience the best, most useful, bit of ethylphenidate comes hours after taking it: I feel calm, mentally sharp, focused as anything and in a good mood after an afternoon of slightly distracting am-I, aren't-I stimulation. Also I appear to have a suntan, I got that from ritalin too so it's probably not liver failure. I think it must metabolise into something which works for me; the actual experience isn't that great beyond waking me up. Dose > Feel awake / distracted > crash, irritability > feel great.

Personally I rather like this pattern that ethylphenidate has. It makes for surprisingly gentle and clear-headed binges too. There's research out there that shows ritalin to be neuroprotective in humans. Whether or not the same applies to ethylphenidate I don't know, but it certainly feels a lot less heavy on the mind/body than other stimulants I've indulged in.
 
people round here seem to be getting nasty comedowns from eph :(
