Had a surprisingly good day at work, boats n' islands n' interesting people. This is another indication of how sad my life it. But hey ho shouldn't complain really.

Well I'm good, Kate. Went in to uni today to discuss the editorial illustration project, the woman we had to oversee the focus group discussion is like a half-tutor, part timer, and she literally said it doesn't matter if our work is shit, it's first year and none of our marks count toward our final grade in 3rd year. Naturally we all walked out a little too carefree.

I have a feeling her opinion is not in line with the official university stance.

Haddocks a great fish, i've NEVER caught a haddock, we don't get many down here, my mate caught one once a couple years ago, and i think there are a few off cornwall at certain timesof year, we get cod, bass, ling and lots of pollack, lots of rays...I think we get more pollack and you get more haddock?

I've never fished, well apart from at fair grounds when I was a kid and you used to get goldfish...wonder if they've stopped that now-a-days due to cruelty I quite fancy trying fly fishing - the body wellies look well cool %) looks tricky mind.

At Pitlochry you can watch salmon swimming up the ladder - there's this observation window bit, they're sturdy buggers!

As usual i eat the fish and then have no room for the chips stuffed.
