I may have to look this guy up and watch that part of the episode!
Darksidesam, don't take this the wrong way, I don't mean it as an insult or anything like that....but are you gay or into anal sex at all? Just a thought as to why it could be hurting.
Mind you, this is just speculation, a doctor is better to speak to probably. I'd get booked in as soon as you can.

Im actually seperated, fell in love with someone when i was like 16, then got married at 18 Crazy shit i know.
But she thought i was going off her because it went from every day to like once in a week,
sex was painful. Also im a bit mood swingy she hated that too lol. I did put myself out fully in that relationship though i did all i could have.
Shitty prostate problem, so ive had it going on for about 4 years + now,
i feel like im going to be alone forever if it is prostatitis, i didnt think it'd be prostate cancer?
doctor wants me to get a biopsy done, which obviously involves piercing the prostate, just so they can have a nose.
2 reasons i don't want this done is:
1. It can spread cancerous cells if there are any to other parts of the body
2. It will cause scarring tissue on the prostate.
Ive read many other prostatitis suffererers say they have had the biopsy done, and all it did was make their symptoms worse..
So, If i get a blood test done, will they be able to tell if there is cancer in there through that? i really dont want my symptoms to worsen and am avoiding a biopsy at all costs...

euuwwwww not good darksidesam....hope evrything works out okay, sorry I can't give you any advice...I had some pains from the prostate area a few years ago, went and had pee power tests and a consultant fingered me for a bit, they couldn't find anything wrong, the pains went away over a few months...
Glitched I was prescribed codeine for a couple of years leading up to me having my hips replaced, for pain yes, took them 24/7 for two years and then just stopped after me replacements were put in...wow, didn't know wtf was going on, then realised after about 12 hours and put meself on a taper and stopped taking them over a couple months maybe...fuck knows what full blown opiate withdrawal is like, I wanted to die when I just ceased the codeine.
More recently I have a friend who is prescribed codeine, dhc, oramorph, fentanyl and some others for a condition he has...until recently he's hardly used his full range meds so lets me have his dhc's and the odd bottle of oramorph, but now he's having to use them for himself, so no more opiate treats for me...well, he's gonna let me have his 500/30 cocodomols....but it not a prob, I'm very careful to never take daily for more than a few consecutive days, always have breaks etc, so I know I have no dependency issues now.....
Not saying I won't miss them mind

Yo, DSS, just a quick note as I'm meant to be working, but I had an inflamed prostate in my mid-late 20s which took several lengthy courses of antibiotics to shift and lots of probing fingers up the backdoor. The doctor said that the prostate has a kind of labyrinthine structure which means that it's susceptible to long-lasting infections. I seem to recall being given a blood test at the time which ruled out cancer. However, I SEEM to recall this, I couldn't tell you with 100% certainty that that's what happened as it was ten years ago.
My instinct would definitely be to avoid any sort of invasive activity, ie a biopsy, unless your doctor thinks it is absolutely necessary.
Go back to the doctor, possibly several doctors if the first one gives you the hardline on the biopsy. I do apologise for vagueness, and if I've missed anything important from earlier in the thread, but it's extremely unlikely that you have cancer of the prostate at your age.
