I understand what a tablet is, I just don't understand how it will be easier to use than a laptop lying on your side.
That's why I've told you I'll make a video! But suffice to say, for me it's pretty fucking obvious!

OK I'll be a bit nicer.
With a laptop you've got the keyboard jutting out into your neck area. If you move it, you have to move a large three dimensional object. It's heavier, so can't be kept upright quite as easily.
If you want to change what's on the screen, you have to access the mouse/keyboard. Not easy to do on your side.
Finally as I've already mentioned my laptop has cooling vents on one side, and I like to switch sides - no go.
A tablet remedies all these problems. Plus I can just leave it next to my bed, my laptop is normally docked at my desk.
If this clarifies things I will not bother making the video!
