I didn't get a wink in the end my leg is fukin killin me , i gotta walk about half a mile to the doctors for my injection , luckily i got my stick , i'm expecting /hoping to get some decent painkillers .
My calf will be swollen double the size no doubt .
What is worrying , is that if their is a clot and it moves to my lungs i could die , no shit .

I'm surely in for a terrible day today. Still feeling a bit sore after that whopper of a sesh the other night. Now the mother has seen the latest court letter she wants me to go appologise and pay for the window (for some stupid reason I was going to do that ages ago but never - probably too late now), then it will be a case of speaking to soliciter who will also not be happy after telling me seriously to stay out of trouble. On top of that after being good for ages I'm now back in the overdraft and have christmas presents I still need to buy.
Fucking hate booze for the hassles it causes me, it is in no way worthwhile anymore. New years resolution may aswell come into force early this year I reckon.

Jesus, I haven't been out of my overdraft in years, you've got that on your side at least. About to play 'lucky bank' with some remaining presents, which is the game where I go into a shop full of psychopaths, choose something and see if I am able to buy it or if my card is declined. I've got a completely irrational phobia of checking my balance. Also, I went to the pub last night with a load of 20s which were going to go on presents and I haven't dared look in the wallet yet to see how many remain. All I know is that I feel like being sick and I'm still in bed when I've got absolutely loads to do.

That's a horrible feeling, you make a pessimistic estimate on how much is left in your wallet, hoping to be delighted to find there's more in there than you thought, BUT the reality is, even your most pessimistic guess is higherthan the reality, every fucking time, and you think, how the FUCK did I spend so much, there's no accounting for it.....

Thanks! Oh my god yes, the moment when even your pessimistic guess looks like a lottery rollover by comparison to the fiver so dirty that at first you think it's a tenner is a terrible one indeed. I can guarantee that there will be at least twelve quid in loose change in my jeans though. I foolishly had three different types of ale last night and at least one wasn't in good nick. I suspect a vicious attack of the plops in some blighted department store lavatory with the Black Dog hot on my heels as daylight wanes. Yo ho ho!

hah! I stopped doing it years ago. my balance is confirmed when card says no. whenever I take out cash from the cash point i NEVER use the 'check balance' option. it's like a totally obscene thought that I would even consider it. and if I use my card in a shop, I usually hand it over saying, 'havent used this one in ages, not sure if it's still active' line, in case it declines, which it never does. but the 2 times it has in the last few years, plus past debt trauma from years ago combine to make card payments in shops a total no-no for me and avoidable at all costs.
[edit] unless it's someone else's, which it usually is since i buy for a few people. all of them have more money than me so that's not so bad

FUCK yeah, I've looked in my wallet and there's actually 45 quid in there which is good going considering how appalling I feel!
There's a kind of ATM equivalent of the wallet guessing game which is doing a quick (and totally inaccurate) summary of recent spending then trying to take out £100, imagining that you are responsibly leaving a small buffer for outgoing direct debits and things. £100 is declined. OH DEAR. £90? Declined. £80? Declined. That's about the only time I'll head home and look at the figures online.
I earned very little last year and although things have got a lot better in the last couple of months I've still got a lot of the old fear hanging over me.

we've done the Darth Vader one, but without a scalpel, so i had to draw on the eyes
but i've just been to the chemist and bought some scalpel blades so we can do some more intricate ones.
my friend told me the R2D2 one took her 3 hours.
Might have another bash at the Darth Vader one now we got some decent blades.

@ mailmonkey go for it mate! Bit of quality time with your lad as well, must be lovely to have little uns around at Christmas, it's just been my mum and I for the last 8 years since my grandparents passed away, I'm only 25 so loads of time for kids yet!
Don't even have a partner yet but I'd like to have a kid within the next ten years!

I was out of the overdraft for about 5 days max. That was the first time in at least 6 months. Absolutely depressing being such a dick with money isn't it? Sorry I don't mean you are a dick but we sound equally useless with our finances. I too was ment to go christmas shopping with what I blew, at least you were smart enough to withdraw the cash though. I just paid everything in the pub by card 8)
I was up early today but I'll probably not be 100% for a good few days after that sesh. No more drinking or seshing over xmas or new year for me. Fucking waste of time.
