afternoon all, still got this foggy cloud in my head, pissing me off, how is everyone? redbull hasnt shifted it a bit :| gunna go have lunch inabit and scrape together a rollup out of the dregs in the end of my pouch, isnt life fun being broke and being stuck at work, only 3 hours of torture left:|

Edit : sorry for you all having to read my moaning, just abit down as of recent, maybe the impending age of a quarter of a century in a weeks time is the culprit, or maybe its those msjs from the weekend, who knows..or more likely who the fook cares!

Like mr breakcorefiend i have nothing but complaints today. Sick of being lectured every morning as i try to eat breakfast, sick of people judging me when they don't even fucking know me! Just had my stitches out, and a new cast put on which is going to stop me doing anything whatsoever because it's too big and looks stupid as fuck, plus awkward.

So many people annoying me here plus i'm getting messed about by this new job when i've told the best dj's in the area they can have a slot cos my boss asked me to ask them when i told her about them...now she's saying speak to the resident dj, who is mediocre and so full of himself he's scared to let anyone else dj because he will be upstaged.

I've been offered a job through a friend in Manchester, 23k a year... it's basically just selling their software products and maintaining relations with their Scottish clients. Seriously going to go for it if the chance comes cos i have 100% had it with up here!

Sorry for the rant ;)

Rs thats one of your better posts mate;)

The Job sounds interesting , would you have to move ? or would you be "maintaining relations with their Scottish clients" from your current home . Sounds good anyway Go 4 it .

I'm just sooo pissed off. The boy who I had organised as a dj is honestly brilliant, he has his own slot on a well known hard dance radio station every week. Now he's been messed about he'll just think fuck it, he was only fancying it because I'd hammed it up in the first place. It might be £12.50 an hour but I'm being messed about so much now I'm close to just saying fuck them.

Yeah it would involve moving. I know I can make friends though and find decent parties, could prob meet a few new BL'ers aswell etc. I'm also having world war 3 with the folks lately aswell, need to move out. I'm just preying they'll phone me back!!!

Aye lad, this be a warning, come tae manchester, and we'll set about ye, yah bas! in a nice manner of course, go for it mate.

Moving far ? It might be good 4 ya ,everyone should get out of the place they grew up at some time at least for a while i rekon

Well yeah, from the highlands to Manchester would be a long way haha. I'm not shy though and I think taking a step into somewhere new on my own could be a good thing for where I am at the moment.

Haha yeah tbh it almost does sound a bit like that's what they're after.

You mean your women? Oh good I was hoping for something like that. Aye you will be on the list of Mancunian BL'ers to be graced with my finest Scottish patter ;)

I think the best thing you can do right now is move, a fresh start away from all the drama and bullshit in your wee highland town.

I recon Sam's probably beavering away on a pretty successful attempt at crafting a daily life with heavy focus on outcomes involving achievements in consistent daily self-motivation, and at least some form of semi-productiveness in his other chosen endeavours.
but i could be wrong. I'm just guessing

good luck SamHantha, whutever youre doing <3

I dont see the church as the Borg.

How do you know you're not already assimilated ?

Because I have a mind of my own. I don't need a book, preacher or a god to tell me how to live.

I spent most of the day reading shit about Nihilism on the internet when I should have been working. I like Neitszche's (sp?) idea that we've outgrown Christianity (& that was about 100 years ago). "God is dead".

Anyway, we should probably stop this as it's not like it's ever going to come to a point where we both agree. Unless anyone would like to talk at me about philosophy, as oppose to argue about whether religion is real or not. I've decided to take an active interest in learning more about shit like that, mainly because I've always thought I liked the idea of Nihilism but then realised I don't really know much about it (that & the fact I've got an internet connection & hunners of free time at work because I'm a master skiver).

ha ha...
Evening Lady Marm

how's the joeWagonTM been btw? Can't be easy atm. feels like we get 2 hours of daylight now, and even that's been bloody overcast. urgh. the only thing that really takes my mind off winter, and stuff I'm avoiding thinking about, is wandering around in a field playing hide n seek with mushrooms. i think this is what pigs must be like with truffles

Na but i always take the ones from barclays bank!
They Write well neat!

finding out about Camus .. was helpful to me ... and he kinda led me to Absurdism .. which is kinda comforting when your head's in messy mode.

love philosophy, which i started studying a bit for an MBA before i quit. I've found all you need's an interest, and your brain and interest in life do the rest ... just like you just said .. a mind of your own is all a person needs. it helps if it's not one that needs to reach a conclusion all the time, despite wanting to ... conclusions are usually unhelpful to me in the long run... more information is good ... and it just adds to the infinite RAM space in your head, evolving rather than concluding

I'm of the general belief that unless you use what you find to understand and develop your behaviour, it all gets a little 'pointless' tho ... well, never pointless, but not as useful as it could be [edit] and also helps to avoid the continuous loop of being undecided about things, which can be a pain in the arse and a hinderance to leading a semi-contented existence[/edit]

there's only so many trips to the Dextroverse one can take, before it all seems rather likely that you're not really on the cusp of discovering the meaning of it all, so why not put that open mind to some practical use and start stripping yourself down and realising what a total stud you are, or could potentially be ;p .. [edit] and by you, I mean me ... or anyone, lol .. not you specifically.
