Morning folks , quiet weekend 4 me waiting for a man atm , was supposed to be putting a polyurethane coating on my table (rock n roll) but was told that it wouldn't work by the guy at the D.i.y shop who itrust.

So i consoled myself by buying 10 Harris mini rollers for £6 bargain!

Harris kit is a must for any paining jobs all else is shoddy in comparison.

Frost i here you say Kate8o when did you start gettin frost , we haven't had it here yet.

AN ICKLESHAM family is locked in a battle with the BBC to grant their terminally ill 11 year old son’s wish.

Dr Who-mad Tobias Fiddimore, who has a life expectancy of 12, wants to visit the set of his favourite TV series but the request was turned down by BBC bosses.

A Facebook petition outlining Toby’s plight attracted more than 5,000 supporters in the space of two days.

Mum Claire, from High Fords, explained: “The Make A Wish Foundation made the request to BBC Wales and it was refused as all requests to visit the set by terminally ill or disabled children are turned down on the grounds they have a ‘policy’ against it.

“Tobias, although terminally, ill is an able bodied child, he is not wheelchair bound and could cause no objections or problems by being on set.

“Despite this ‘policy’ they have allowed children on set on two occasions that I know about, once for Children In Need and another when a scriptwriter brought his two children on set to meet the cast and the crew.

“This seems to the casual observer that they discriminate against disabled children. Other programmes on the BBC, such as Tracey Beaker have allowed children from the Make A Wish Foundation on set, even letting a little girl be an extra on the show.

Frost i here you say Kate8o when did you start gettin frost , we haven't had it here yet.

Today's been the first hard-frost day here on the west coast. It's gorgeous too, big cold clear blue skies, the suns on her way down already tho'

So what are you going to do with your table next? It's great when you get a bargain isn't it. I've got my recent retro retail-slip-up wedgewood cruet set all cleaned up and bone dry now. Time to bring it back into every day use and use it :D If felix breaks any of it I'll kill him.

This is the table that i've had 15 years atm its had 1coat of primer , undercoat, and eggshell bone colour.
I'm waiting for a mate who does this sort of thing for a living to ring me so i can get the right advice about putting a protective type clear coat on it.

I've also got a Bedside cabinet thats been in the fam. decades on the go as well , i've prepared it n primed it .
Not sure what colour to go for cos i'm not allowed to paint the walls for ayear in my new place its standard practise for new builds.

sitting down n typing this has got me gouching out:) thats the sign of good stuff , when you get a bit of energy n then when you stop working n have a rest the old opiate nod comes on .

Do you have a camera for pics brimz? It would be amazing to see the transformation process. It's lovely to hear about a loved everyday object being so cared for as it ages and moves onto new places n' people.

You need a camera ;)

What's your new place decorated like? Is it all neutral and cream? I'd be pure dead excited about stamping my mark on a place like that with lovely things that come from the past.

Edit: indeed sir

i use my Mums camera its a Sony one i have some pics of the flat that i took yesterday but it looks kinda bare , the walls are a nice warm colour , not magnolia a bit nicer.

TBH a camera isn't top of my shopping list atm.

Oh yeah that photo is their you just gotta look harder:)

Haha wasn't thinking about that and doncha know I'm a really lazy clicker. Just caught by how good it would be to "see" brimz stuff, sounds like you have an amazing eye for the beautiful. Why isn't there a a salute you smilie? (admin, smods?)

Edit

bit of a joke considering the image button is STILL broken....

I will provide a bit of gibbering. Went to the local fireworks display earlier and went for a ride on the waltzers. There was some fucked guy laying down in one of the cars drinking a can of cider, I think he went round about 3 times while we were waiting to get on and was still paying for goes as we left. Perhaps a bit of a had to be there moment but it amused me anyway :D

ha ha long time since I have had a go on the waltzers! dont think I could manage nowadays without feeling sick!

And I can see the amusement in your story without being there lol

Christ The Darkside Forum bit is scary, never really had a nosey in there before! But...... God forbid keep youselves out of that one lol

I wouldn't say its scary - very welcoming place for people who have pretty serious issues, a place where they will get some solid advice, encouragement and support. EADD is scarier than TDS, you get nothing but abuse, pisstaking and The Spade in here.

Morning everyone, hope you all had a fun bonfire night. I'm still in bed, after a night at a friend's houseparty with lots of cocktails, fireworks and cheeky line of mandy. Civilised fun was had :D

Just had my first DMT experience. Fucking brilliant.

How come it was fucking brilliant, what about it made it so?

Good evening eadd :) how's it going with you all?

I've had a lovely day, got up somewhat tranquillised but got it together to got outside for a long walk along the beach - seen seals and loads of birds. The sun was beaming, it was chanking = excellent %) Ended up in a lovely place along the coast north for drinks and some delish seafood munchies. Taxi home :o

Not thinking about work tomorrow, it'll come round soon enough.

What's the news then?
