I'm on a Furniture restoration mission , its really good when you've finished an item.

I decided to sand down n paint the Cofee table in the end , after primer 2 coats , undercoat its ready for the Eggshell .

I'm going with Farrow N Ball Paints, Bone , that paint is ££££ , n i got a 3/4 full tin off a mate:)

Have to wait till t'moro know 4 it to dry .

After the table i have a bedside cabinet to restore :) can't wait .

It's like giving it a new character , really satisfying n i hate shopping when i could be restoring stuff . So many folk live in this disposable culture we have these days.

Nothing is built to last , and folk don't want it too i think as it gives an excuse to buy n consume , what they have been brought up to do , no fault of their own or parents its Society .
 
Good work brimz, I love a bit of restoration, just done our old kitchen cupboards and given them a new lease of life and saved a loads of money at the same time! Win

its a huge win , especially when folk are skint in general , like i said its all Credit n buy buy n if you don't then well:\

Such a shame people buy in2 this way of living .

It's alright, I hardly know what I mean to be honest. Say enough vaguely mysterious things and some folk are bound to believe you're enigmatic. That's my game.
 
Well I had the tables turned on Friday night. A woman sat down next to me, kicked my leg underneath the table and then proceeded to take the piss out of me doing my best to look bored and unapproachable.

I was at a loss as to where to go after that. Told her I do the headgames, thanks very much.

Feeling para about my photo being connected to the flashing/drugs etc so am going to
get rid of it. Will give you 5 mins to save it if you need it for a screensaver or whatever sam ok :)
 
Erm... possibly. I didn't expect some stranger a few years my junior to see through the pose and deliver a scarily accurate assessment of my character though. Serves me right.
 
Is that the cleavage photo you're eting rid of Yellow? If so, I'll (regretfully) delete it from where I quoted it... :(

obviously have it saved anyway.
