Here's my entrry for the fact of the month contest: LSD stays in your spinal fluid for ever and ever and when you crack your back it can cause flashbacks. TRU FACTZ

Not denying EADD is a great forum, and is one of the best and busiest, doesn't mean the rest of bluelight should be ignored though.

UK and ireland just has a very different drug scene than the rest of the world so most questions asked here are very local centric. BDD is a good forum but the euro lot seem to like to stick here.

These arriving in the post today cheered me right up %)

I spent most of the day at work skiving & hunting for a new job. Gonna apply for a job at the RNIB, they'll never see me coming ;)

lolz, if you posted that in the BDD thread then it would be quite humorous but it wouldn't be allowed to be submitted.

It's not necessarily about the drug scene though, the social thread in BDD is pretty worldwide, we have regulars in there from AUS, USA, UK and Europe.

Most of the general questions in the forum are about drugs primarily used in the US though. We have dragged a few of the Euros over to BDD though, most notably the new amazing moderator effie :D and Samhaim pops in every now and again, loulou reed and Chainsaw Williams post quite a bit in there too.

Is nice to socialise in there with some of the non europeans that I don't get the chance to socialise with in EADD too.

IMO EADD and BDD are the best two forums on the site, they are the two busiest aswell I think.

Fucking moths, I am terrified of them cant have my windows open at night because loads of massive ones fly in and i cant sleep until they are dead. I dont normally kill insects/flys whatever they are but if I could wipe one creature from the planet it would be them, absolute daft cunts.

They have a habit of hiding then getting me the next morning when I have forgot about one.

never really got the moth terror. We seem to have some living in our kitchen though so moth cull is go here also.

I have an intense dislike for moths. Can't be doing with them.

oh well it was a TV film for tonight, will never get fed up of gladiator , fucking amazing film from Ridley Scott , that Director really has talent and i cant wait for Prometheus AKA Alien Prequel ohhhh so cant wait !!!!

Wow, well I am going to scotland now, big big changes today, back and forth, back and forth, but I am going and will be heading off early tomorrow morning. Rollercoaster ride of emotions and decisions today, glad it is back on though :)

Just thought I would let some EADDers know that we have a new contest running in BDD at the moment that you might be interested in. The winner each month gets a custom title for a whole month :) Custom titles make some people feel a bit more special =D

Basic Drug Discussion Fact of the Month Contest!!!!!. The rules for the contest are in the thread I just linked, The contest thread is also remaining open at the moment for anyone to ask any questions they may have about the contest, submissions to the contest should be made in the BDD Social/Info Booth v3 thread though.

Just trying to let people that don't really venture out of EADD much know that there are other forums on BL 8) and people should try and spread your wings a bit sometimes and check out the rest of bluelight. :)

Fact - Drugs do not work if you put them up your ear.

Again, wrong forum for submissions 8) lol

Mock the BDD Fact of the Month Contest all you like, but I think it is a good idea to make BDD a more fun place, rather than just about asking and answering questions (which is the primary aim of the forum). Having contests like this though make people more likely to return to the forum and contribute in the general aims and focus of the forum.

So this hitchhiking thing, Mugz - you going to be taking a BDD sandwich board to wear on the journey so you can spread the word in places other than EADD? ;)

Beautiful Wednesday morning going on here. I'm wishing I were decptive enough to pull a sickie but it ain't happening. Shame.

HAHA, I don't have enough cardboard or string for a sandwich board, and probably best not to advocate drug discussion forums when attempting to hitch a ride :D

I want to wait for the mailman to arrive as I am expecting a couple of books from amazon today that I would love to take with me, plus something else I wouldn't mind taking along with me. Hopefully he will not be too late today, he has been good recently and come at about 10am.

The main book I am looking forward to receiving is;

The Hidden Reality: Parallel Universes and the Deep Laws of the Cosmos

anyone, advice on how and how long you have to drink for before withdrawal...?

hey guys.... hope you're all well. so i've been drinking, but not huge amounts, almost every night since i can remember. at the thing i'm at right now its basically impossible not to... anyway i'm a bit worried as i've noticed my hands shaking the last couple of days. last night was a bit of a blowout as a lot of stressful stuff was going on and this morning they're a lot worse, like i gave up on my cup of tea. i didn't really think the amounts i was drinking (rarely more than 4 pints) was enough to cause any problems, am i just kidding myself? also, my hangovers have been noticeably worse. is this probably alcohol or should i try and see a doctor? i'm not too concerned about the drinking i think once i get home i can stop quite easily but if this isn't just alcohol i am concerned....

Hangovers getting progressively worse could be a sign of liver damage but then again it could be due to you not having given your body sufficient rest from the alcohol.

The shakes are never good but they're not necessarily a sign of anything sinister in the long-term, more that you should give it a rest.

For how long have you been drinking every day? It's not always the volume of alcohol that's important but the frequency with which you drink. every night isn't ideal, even if you're staying within the recommendations.

I'd go and see a doctor if you're worried about any long-term damage. It may seem that your drinking isn't causing you many problems but it can't hurt to make sure you've not done yourself harm.

If you're worried get your blood done for liver function if you can!

I'm trying to work out what to do with a bin bag full of rotten meat. I had to spend about a week away from home at short notice and I left a big pot of chilli in the fridge which spoiled while I was away. So I put it in an extra thick bin bag with some raw chicken which had gone the same way and left it out for the binmen, who have not taken it for some reason, possibly because the bag is the wrong colour (wankers). It's already been on the doorstep four days in this heat so I dread to think what's happening inside the bag. Binmen not due for a week. I might have to make a nocturnal trip to a skip a few streets away with it.
