Aye just a bit, but I was pissed wet through anyway. It impressed them though so it worked out alright. I don't think I'll be accepting it though, as I got offered an interview next week for somewhere a little bit further away, but pays more. So fingers crossed for that one!

I WANT SOME STIMs, I really need to learn how to budget so I don't get left with a week left until payday with only a fiver to my name. Could beg to my dad for another short loan, but he has handed his notice in at work so will also be pretty skint from now on too as he has no job lined up.

I think I told you already that Roseeta Stone was pish and taught you useless phrases. The man and the women are eating an apple and rice....aye braw! 8)

Instead lets learn how to say "Alright darling, lets go to the love motel, sniff this coke I've just bought and put this dodgy viagra to use".

Ditch Rosetta Stone. Find a course that teaches you the most commonly used words, once you know a handful of them you can stick them together and say fucking loads without effort even if it isn't always grammatically correct. 'Real Portuguese' is fucking awesome, if they do a Spanish version get it!

I haven't been using it much lately, can't harm to learn what I have been learning so far, you never know when you might need to say in latin american spanish "those women are not drinking milk!!!" =D

Am only on the first module stil too so I think it will get better as the modules progress and I have the free time.

I do intend on joining a class though, just need to get this whole bristol/cambridge situation sorted first before I join any classes.
 
Aye manzana is apple...fuck knows where I got manzana from it's not even there. think I've had too much to drink. :D

These women are not drinking milk....WTF is that even on there for! Learn as much as you can before you go, whilst you can survive without it it's a HUGE benefit if you can talk some of the language. It helps a lot and you'll be able to chat up the local chickas who don't speak English even though most of the younger ones do anyway.

Good docu about Glasto on right now btw. My poor, old, blind & deaf and half daft gran ended up getting the double glazing put in today, so she's now £7k out of pocket. I tried to phone them before work with no answer and then couldn't get in touch with them after that because I work all day. My mum got through and they basically said that because my gran signed for it there was nothing anyone could do, she's phoning CAB and Trading Standards tomorrow.
 
The font's gone back to normal now, don't know whether it was some setting I'd fucked up or just drug madness, honestly looked different! I've seen that glastonbury docu before, it's a good one.

Spade that's awful that your gran's been taken in for all that money. Did you not phone to delay the installation? Did you tell your gran if they came round she was to tell them where to go?
