Happy Mothers Day to all the mums out there! Mine is awesome and I owe her a lot, wish I could have seen her today. Being a mum looks like it can be hard work so I hope everyone had a suitably relaxing and lovely day <3

Thanks Kate <3. I'd love to meet your two boys one day. I'm sure you've done a cracking job and they're proper young men. I imagine them to be kind, like their mum. You're so proud of them I can't imagine them to be anything less than lovely.

DUH, Fathers day? It does come round once a year as well. We make a huge deal of it in this house. Cake, pampering, home made cards and a nice meal. And no, I guess not all parent's deserve it. The ones that count do though. My mum was amazing even though she had faults herself I'll never think less of her. I hope my kids love me as much.
 
agree'd, Fathers day means only my husband getting pampered. The day meant nothing to me as a kid. In fact, It was mothers day round two as she was both my father and my mother. Even if I did have a step father it was all her.



Too bad they don't have adopted uncle day. The Girl would love that. She does love her sham man. Never heard that girl prattle on more than when you two were locked in convo ha ha.

Bitter or what? you shouldn't feel guilty whatever you feel, I know you don't :( still I'm sad I didn't get the chance to be your mum babes.
 
^^ Obviously bitter, Kate. I'm not so enlightened I can forgive and forget certain things. I have one parent in jail for stuff that puts Gary Glitter to shame and another... who is very happy now. I can forgive. But forgetting is less easy. Especially at times it's rammed down my throat that it should be.

Also, you're way too young to be my mother. But you are a lovely lady and I have no doubt a great mother <3

but if it's about Mothers Day in general... you obviously still love her very much, otherwise you wouldn't STILL be living there and totally sponging off her at your age. ;)

Hope everyone's alright. I know today can be a really conflicting day for some. It is for me anyway.

In other news, this clock-changing-bizniz has screwed my sleep "pattern" up more than normal - Only woke just over an hour ago.
Just watched Louis Theroux's return to the mental Phelps' christian camp in disarray. He's definitely the best Documentary maker / presenter out there :)

Check me rambling nonsensical rubbish!
 
didn't the clocks change a week ago? or maybe even two? :D

i saw louis being interviewed the other day, and totally meant to watch that - what channel was it on please?
