indeed, and in fact that realisation has made me happier than any other realisation i've ever had.

just feel really thick right now, in the space of a week found too massive mistakes in work that taken months of computer time, well one of them wasn't really a mistake just a false but sensible assumption. spent most of yesterday failing to realise what i wanted to do was pretty much out of the first lecture you'll ever get on quantum physics, did that, then get stupid results from division. fucking division. i mean who can't divide? ok me when i'm so stressed and depressed about stuff that i need to justify being depressed about it by rendering myself totally incapable of it. ugh.

You'd be surprised. I'd probably have a rough time. Unless the 'divide' in question was immediately followed by 'and conquer'.

I wouldn't beat yourself up about it. Everybody makes the odd mistake in their working lives, and what you're doing probably takes a lot more sustained concentration than many people's jobs demand.

yes it has. it will at least be a sunny walk to the office.

and yeah i know what you mean, but most people aren't paid higher than the national average wage to do this shit. unfortunately i'm just a sad indicator of the quality of the uk education system and the pool of applicants for phds.

its incredibly annoying when you're just trying to be nice to someone and make them feel better and they keep coming out with 'yeah buts,' so i promise not to do it again, and thanks for yoru consolation!!!

and morning to the rest of you, i shall either be listening to the steal or fucked up on my way to work, fucked up probably, though the steal are more there to bring sunshine to grey days, so i need to think about whether i want music to suit my mood or the weather. i think i need drugs to appreciate breakcore unfortunately.

Yups, plenty of Aunty Val to hand, she'll be keeping me company today, starting now.

We tried an EPIC mission to get some weed last night, we became so obsessed that once we started we refused to give up. Had to in the end. We left it too late in the night for anyone or dial a deal to be able to help out.
