Nobody escapes the hangover, Wibz!!! Especially the Spanish Hangover. Perhaps.

Hope yer recover soonest. I hate hangovers so much it's almost reason enough to quit drinking. Almost. Never even got them at your age, to be honest. Youth of today are so very fragile. Wasn't till I hit my 30s that I started getting 'em. And think I may be making up for all those I dodged prior to that :|
 
Actually can...not...stay...awake!

Keep nodding off, and eyes keep closing when i'm sitting up, need something to keep my brain in action.

It does not help that ESPN is free on Virgin Media tonight, so Mcpanda will be spending all night watching Ice Hockey. I'll just gan to kip like.
 
Me too Cherry. My whole body hurts. Damn you tyre. I pulled, kicked and lifted every muscle in my body into aching today.

Wasn't able to get to bed when I wanted. Finally got the chance around 2. Was woken up several times at that.

I'm in my bathrobe and intend to stay there for the remainder of the day.

I think it's because I pretty much stop drinking between the ages of 16-22. The gap is a killer for tolerance and hang over freedom.
 
Boredom is not good. I'm off to the shop to buy £2 - 2 litre cider baccy and antacids. Even a pint or something. Tea is no fun on a Friday.

Shop for me too after dins, m'dear. Got a fiver left from the spoils of yesterday's surprisingly successful mission to hunt and gather some leccy. Gotta spend three quid of that on some baccy and can't spend the other two on more leccy cos you need to put at least a fiver onto the keycard at a time. Sooooo bloody annoying not being able to just put whatever you have to spare on it :!
 
I know, Even orange or some other mobile company has now started letting you put as little as 10p on your phone.


Not that I know but I heard back in the day when you used to put coins in your meter every coin was accepted. It wasn't a minimum amount.

Wish I could go shopping for you honey. I'm eeking by myself. £2.00 for 2 litres of cider was splashing it out a bit.
 
Discovered that the garage at the other end of town sells 3l bottles of both cider and perry for less than three quid last week. Not that I can afford any this week (or next :|) but good to know :)

Vaguely remember coin meters only accepting 50p pieces when I was a young 'un but is a very hazy memory at best. You may well be right that they used to be more varied in their acceptance. Pretty sure "shilling in the slot" was oldskool standard but may well be mistaken.

Think most places allow you to put less than a fiver on the key but seems to be Co-Op policy (here anyway) to not accept anything shy of that :\

I also remember rented tellys, Kate. And videos. You can get coin-operated PCs now. Even furniture with a coin meter, in fact. Stuff's expensive, Sadie. Although renting it really is a hiding to nothing and a shameful corporate scam exploiting the easily exploitable to boot :\

Just back from the shop. Saw a lass with really nice day-glo pink hair. Wibz would've been proud of it :)

I used to be able to tell you the top twenty in the charts off by heart when I was a young un lol could'nt tell you whats no. 1 now
