My head is splitting. Blowing a fucking absolute gale here too, there's trees been blown over onto the roads, our garden fence has been blown to peices, some buses have been stopped because the winds too strong. Fuck off wind.
 
Still have one bottle of Pear Cider left from yesterdays Pear Cider session. Only have a box full of 2ps and 1ps, but there would definitely be enough in the box to buy at least one more bottle of Pear Cider.

Shall I make a shamefull trip to the shop and buy some alcohol with coppers?
 
oooh, just had a thought, I have my chequebook and my card, and I get paid on wednesday, I wonder if they take cheques. Gonna go down there now and see, will try and buy some household stuff too so it doesn't look like I am getting out the chequebook for booze only. Need some more milk and some washing up liquid anyway. If they don't then I'm not gonna do the shameful payment with coppers. Not worth it for one bottle.
 
Was pretty damn shameful asking if they accepted cheques (before I had collected stuff to buy though) then trying to use my card anyway for a £2 purchase and it being declined. Not going to go back with my coppers now.

Paying with a cheque is much worse than paying with coppers. Most places don't even accept cheques now, haven't done since the switch to chip & pin.

Haha - We've all been there.

Yeah, I realised that when I went down there and asked about it, they looked at me as though I was from the dark ages.
 
fuck sake. how disorganised are the punks of england. crash doubt fest a week and a half a go. boozey du fest 2 on saturday. manfester next monday. do they not think they'd attract larger audiences if they didn't put all of this in the space of one pay cheque? i mean clearly i'm not missing either of the upcoming ones but i have to borrow money to do so. i hate borrowing money.

then there wont be another all dayer til november or something stupid.

in other news, the wind is fucking mental today. Just got back from the shop almost got knocked down by a strong gust a couple of times. Was funny to watch I guess so its not all bad.

Tonight is one of those I'm tired but not tired nights. Slept a bit more than I should have today so no doubt it'll be a long late night for me. Meh, I'm getting used to a wonky internal clock. Usually results in an odd sleep schedule or lots of coffee and tea. Kinda like being night owl. I get more time to myself. The solitude can be peaceful sometimes.
 
I feel like I've not had a minute to myself today, up at half 6 for work, out in the fucking freezing cold in gale force winds getting soaked to the bone, mind numbing day at work, long delayed bus journey home because of traffic jams and trees on the roads, had to make tea and then eat it, tidying up the fucking garden that had been destroyed by the wind (bits of fence and gate everywhere, overturned BBQ, chairs and bins all over the shop), then had to catch up with emails, print off shit for work to read (which I've still not had time to read), try and reclaim some of the £800 from internet business that went tits up the other week, apply for a volunteer position with a charity that works with hill tribes in the mountains on Thailand, chase up people I used to volunteer for who I can no longer get in touch with as my boss is demanding 'proof' that I actually volunteered (I did but who cares I have proper employment references!!) as well as working out where I was on certain dates in 2008 (apparently my CV has an unexplained gap in it and she want's an answer - I dinna know where or what I was doing probably fuck all) and I've still got to make my peice for the morras lunch! No rest for the wicked. :|

Yeah my mum was saying it was reported 100mph winds here ..

i had my window closed but when its open the door sort of rattles or bangs kind of .. well even with my window closed it was bashing constantly
 
Bluelight is slower than ever today for sure Sadie, a lot of the time it wont even load the page until I refresh it a few times.

Sounds like your job is a way too much hassle spadey, they seem to want the world from you. You looking elsewhere while you are still there, or gonna try and stick it out?
 
Wind was insane today, seen a few trees blown over, come on rapture's over it's summer now.
