Sounds like you're settling in, suppose the gym will give you another place to go if your "dingy little room" gets a bit too depressing.

That is the plan, have almost settled in now, will never feel like home though, gym membership and a huge bag of rice are my safety nets for when I run out of money a week before the next payday, will always have a place to go and do something and food even when skint.

I too enjoy the taste of the smoke. I enjoy the taste of most things smoked. DMT was the most foul of any or the shameful smoking of fent patches. Plastic isn't tasty.

DMT wasn't as bad as I expected but I can't imagine what smoking a fent patch would taste like. I expect it's worse than smoking oxycontin, which is my own personal stupid tramp moment.

oh no the stuff we used to get about 10 years ago was bloody awful tasting we all used to hold our nose after inhaling or use an empty pack of fags to spit in to after cos the taste was so damn awful , i have to say though the stuff i had over recent years did not have that strong taste to it

The stuff I got ten years ago (and more) tasted great too. Haven't noticed a change, except of course in duff batches.

Maybe it's just conditioning on your part.

all this talk of smoking is making me want a spliff bad!!! me and my boyf have decided for the 40,000th time to cut down massively. neither of us have any cash til payday now really so its kinda forced this month but after that we're gonna put the money we save away for a holiday. i hope we manage. i really would prefer a holiday than to smoke ridiculous amounts of weed each night!

i dont think its to do with that tbh cos there was a period when i went for years not touching it and when i did go back to using it just tasted completely different and i was never a heavy user until when i got addicted a couple years ago , before that it was just an ocassional thing cos i loved my uppers too much

I think its the quality that has changed tbh or the type of gear cos the stuff we used to get was a really dark gear which i havnt seen since way back when it tasted awful , over the past few years ive only seen grey or light tanned gear

Put the money you would have spent on weed in a long thin see through tube in pound coins or get one of those piggy banks that tell you how much you have put in and you will soon see the rewards of saving over indulging.

Or get one of those really nice piggy banks that you have to smash open like this and whenever you get that 10 seconds of self control put the weed money in there.

I only go back to '99 brown-wise but I've never noticed much difference in taste no matter what shade the gear is, aside from the cut.

its definatley changed for me, i can remember the horrid fishy taste like raw fish mixed with bovril or something .. now its more a light taste which i cant really describe but its nothing like what we used to get , mind you back then it was more less likely to have been cut due to where i was getting it compared to now

i should of said recently rather than now , nah i havnt had since december but for the most of last year and half the year before that i was hitting up so wouldnt of realized the taste

When i mean the difference i should say the stuff that tasted bad was around in the mid to late 90's and then a little at the beggining of 2000's then i noticed the change in taste probably about 2009 -2010 between the late 90's and 2009 i didnt do that much gear tbh , just now and again so it wouldnt of been a subtle change for me to notice due to the huge break inbetween

but yeah i woudlnt know the taste of stuff right now no
