I use promethazine on and off, Cornishman. It's quite effective short-term.

It always knocked me right out if I took it with valium. Nothing other than that. There's always the added respiratory depression risk, but I trust you're not drinking heavily this evening? Or anything else?

Thanks Sam. No I gave up habitual boozing a while back.
Just thought I'd try a combo of the various pills lying around.

1x10mg 'elvis pharmaceutical' diazepam ( 8( ), 1x10mg HK blue and 1x25mg promethazine it is then! =D

EDIT: Forgot about the 50mgs meth from earlier....

Watch it if you've got meth in your system. Please. Especially 50mg, which is not an inconsiderable dose by anybody's standards.

Not to say I haven't done that combo but I wouldn't ever recommend it to anyone because it really is a rocky road and everybody's different. Be careful man.
 
Ooh, forgot how great promethazine is. Bought us some for allergies once, KO'd at 12pm. Nothing else even comes close, benzos, diphenhydramine, codeine, morphine, owt. BANG. Gone.

shit TangerineDream, how old are you? Have they told you these sort of tumours are treated, what options you have.

Hopefully their suspicions are correct and it's benign and easily treated, and might alleviate a lot of unwanted symptoms in the process. Good work on them finding it anyway....

Certainly the best otc med for sleep imo. It might potentiate valium,as in floor you. Seemed to potentiate codeine linctus and gave a slight trippy edge.

I took eight once and tripped very 'darkly',giant transparent slugs,a puma or panther. Everything you focused on would turn into something freaky,and would ALWAYS make it's way towards you.Spent much of the night brushing these entities away,fucking spiderwebs everywhere,i am sure it must have taken an hour to plug in the headphones,brush them away and they would re-emerge. Unfortunately,we had a bloke and his bird asleep on the floor.I remember trying to brush cobwebs from her face withought disturbing her.I was sat in the same room at the pc in the dark.

The following morning,i awoke semi naked on the sofa waist down but apparently my hand was cupped over my unimpressive penis and nuts.The bird told me i was up and down turning the light on and off all night.This i don't remember. I may have even removed cobwebs with my penis from her face,but they were raised so no contact???with her face.

I only use it for sleep now.
 
:D I'll have to use that excuse some time. Sorry love I was just brushing cobwebs from your face, my penis seemed the ideal piece of equipment.
 
Totally bored again tonight and no sign of sleep any time soon. Nothing good on TV either!

Delirium from 1st generation antihismatines like promethazine sounds truly horrible, some of the stories on Erowid are pretty 8o
