I'm going to get through another 12th of July in my glorious part of the world :) Usual tradition of avoiding it and having a good time with the holiday will be adhered to! I only remember one nice 12th in recent years. I woke up to the sound of the drums along the parade route, got drunk and went swimming in the sea. Class. Fuckin class.

It's the gnomes! I find the gnomes return gifts at some point, just when least expected...bags of weed and ketamine they have been good in the past.

Same as me mate. I treat it like St Paddys, despite being 12th 'orientated', an excuse to get drunk and nothing more. I'm fucking off on the late thursday/friday so I've plenty of valium/booze/weed to just pretend nothing happened and hopefully I'll wake up when the plane lands on holiday. No time for this shite! (Unless it's like a wee bangin remix such as the above. ;) )

Pretty sure the bonfire this year here was lit a good 10-20 minutes early. Only knew cause someone was playing a wee 'party' dj set. Shocking! :sus:

I loved it too Dan, haven't watched it since it came out tho, so might give it another go to see if it's stood the test of time. Probably about 8-10 yrs since it's release, can't remember. It was a bit of surprise at the time. I have a little thing for Jet Li too
 
I thought Hero was shite...As was House of the Flying Daggers, Crouching Tiger Hidden Yadda Yadda. I love world cinema, and Chinese cinema especially but those films are too ludicrous...

I've got so much to do today and it's all going to cost money - water rates , electric , they are the most important and thats £ 100 right their .
I've done my usual 30mg of nitrazepam & 40mg of diaz as is standard thursday breakfast for me but it's still not making paying all these bills any easier.

This is when i wish i could live at home with parent pay no rent & have her stock up the Fridge .
That must be so cool to have a Fridge freezer that magically refills itself where can i get one of those badboys ?

Yeah i didn't pay em for 3 years once & they ended u[p taking it out my Income support at £2.50 a week .
Don't want to get in that situation again i was only about 20 and it was my first real Flat .

atm I've been up n down with it. Had good and bad days.. but I think overall am winning the war. I'm down to just a smidgeon of pills.. well one pill in the morning ( tram) I gave up Pregab and Tramadol.

I went to N.A last night which was encouraging. Theyre a really nice bunch of people it seems. Theres no religious dimension to it at all if that puts people off. In fact the groups Ive been to point blank refuse to discuss anything sectarian.
