I am trying to get to the bottom of it. They, as a group of 4-6 people, are going to have to stop attacking me and getting personal, for it to actually stop. Because i'm not going to stop defending myself. I've said it before and i'll say it again, if there is anyone who should never be allowed any authority over anything so much as a dog, let alone an internet forum, it is Sam.

Do you want to start doing your job properly or not? I'm happy to stop getting personal if the clique will. I knew you were aligned with them, but if you're aiming for full on membership go right ahead and i'll just go over your heads.

Reason: Sam dislikes me because of various reasons, the main one being various scuffles with his clique. Although previously I have been degraded by the clique for my religion. They have also fulfilled the following:
post or upload any content that is... invasive of another's privacy

Does he speak like this to everyone? Or just people who aren't in his little circle? I've seen him treat limpet chicken, YPDH, scrooloose etc. like shit on various occasions. But never Marmz, MM, or SHM.
 
MSB, I really don't harbour any grudge toward you. What I do take exception to is your tendency to disrupt EADD by making every other thread into some incoherent ideological 'debate', not to mention your propensity to resort to personal insults.

Other than that I just think you need to get out more.

I've been researching online what would happen if I did lose my job, whether or not I would be eligible for benefits and which ones, I could probably get disability and housing benefit, stupidly enough it wouldn't make me much worse off financially than I am now already, although of course they wouldn't come into effect instantly if I did get sacked and had to go on benefits, would have to move out of this flat too which would be a shame as I like it here. I think the best option is to get my act together and get to work everyday, motivation is lacking at the moment, and anxiety attacks are happening more than I care for.

Could is the word Mate .
It takes ages of being on benefits to start getting anything decent .
It wasn't till i got on DLA with a Severe Disability premium that it was good money .
Also if your under 35 they will only pay housing benefit on a single room if it is private .
If it is social housing then they will pay for a proper flat but in most places their will be 20.000 folk on that list and as a single man you will be close to the bottom .

I thinkyour best option is the one in your last sentance of this post .

Wasn't orientated at you in particular mate. Just seems to be drama in here everytime I look, probably just a bit hard for me to keep up to be honest. As I don't even really get all these 'cliques' anymore, a few months back I could somewhat understand them but now I've no clue. Out of the loop!
 
All this bitching is just going to stop people wanting to join the EADD community in my opinion .
Why would you if you read half this stuff it's playground bullshit .

I've barely been on here for the last week... You and your clique resort to personal insults time and time again. More often than not it is you or your clique who insult me first, then you turn it around and pretend it was me who insulted someone first when that wasn't the case at all. You couldn't give a crap about personal insults unless they are directed against your group, I mean you didn't care when marmz wrote what she did which was totally unprovoked, did you? Even now you are subtley mocking me like butter wouldn't melt (no doubt your reply to this will be that i'm just being paranoid). You even use your mod power when we are talking/disussing/debating to get the last word in and then say 'on with the thread', which I believe ticks the box of 'intimidation' does it not?

I don't really understand this. EADD is a social forum, and for some people social intercourse involves, or at least includes, ideological debate. Whether it's coherent or not is by the by.

To disallow certain forms of social intercourse on a social forum is exclusionary and I thought EADD was supposed to be inclusive.

In my view it would be better to accommodate it in a way that is OK for everyone rather than trying to clamp down on it.

I am not partiularly bothered by being insulted, but I agree it is probably putting people off joining or getting involved. I just want to talk and debate about various topics, so if I have to highlight the BLUA every time one of the clique decides to get malicious to make it stop then I will.

I can understand what you're saying, but when people try to shoehorn their politics into every single thread it tends to get really fucking tedious for those who don't want to go down this road. Especially when it inevitably leads to childish bickering.

Anyway, nobody talked about clamping down on anything did they? Cool your jets. ;)

Yes I agree we don't want every thread becoming "MSB against the world" or whatever. That's why I said try to accommodate it. I don't know how, exactly. It's just a starter for ten.

This is the problem that I keep running into knock. Say the joke thread for instance. Someone uses the P word, which spawns a discussion about the word - as it would in real life, because we do not talk in predefined and outlined topics. That little discussion started before I got involved, nevertheless it was I who bore the brunt of mods getting pissed off for going off topic. It seems to me that things that a certain group of people take exception to must be remedied and replied to immediately, but should you want to reply back and that takes up more than a page worth of space, then you have committed some sort of misdemenour? I appreciate that everything must have been much easier on here when it was largely clique members who came in and agreed, with the silent majority of lurkers just keeping quiet, but the forum is totally incapable of accepting or inviting anyone who might go against the grain a little.
