Benzos ran out of benzo's

so here i am just took my last xanax last night feeling a little withdrawl right now. dam and put in my refill a little early too.. but the clinic/ doc is taking sooo... long what do you guys do when you run out of your script early. currenty on a 2 1/2mg xaxax day!!!!!

If you go to an emergency room they will treat you as acute benzo withdrawal can be very dangerous.

If this is your first time running out early. Your doc might refill them. If he doesn't I would go to the hospital so you dont have a seizure!

What's your tolerance like/usual daily dosage?

If you're on at least 1mg xanax/day you should get an emergency refill or something. It isn't safe to go without it. At the least, taking .5mg (or whatever half your usual dose is) till you get your full supply would be good and keep away most of the physical w/d symptoms

^it would stop the withdrawals, yes.

2.5mg/day is certainly enough to produce seizures in abrupt cessation... you have to go to a clinic or emergency room and they'll probably given you a small script of a long-acting benzodiazepine such as diazepam or chlordiazepoxide.

Hopefully use this as a lesson that if you continue on this path, things could get a lot worse. If you have legitimate anxiety, I strongly recommend finding more sustainable ways to manage it and if you're just using them for a high, there are lots of drugs that are safer long-term.

Suggesting the OP smoke weed and drink booze while going through benzo withdrawal is somewhat dangerous advice. Although alcohol is also a sedative and has GABA action it will not safely prevent withdrawal and it's other side effects can just complicate matters. As for the weed how is that supposed to help the situation?

Don't smoke cannabis unless you're more or less a daily user of it, cannabis can cause panic attacks during benzo withdrawal.

The lorazepam will help a lot, call your doctor and tell him what's going on. Benzo withdrawal cold turkey can be vary dangerous.

im a daily beer drinker so im good on that and as for the lorazepam i have 20 1mgs hope my refill come's in between then witch im sure it will. don't know what i would have done if i didn't have the lorazepam!! ya know
